Politics and the rule of law is a textbook with the characteristics of the times,which is compiled according to the 2017 edition of the ideological and political curriculum standards for ordinary high schools,in order to implement the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Compared with the old teaching materials,it further optimizes the curriculum structure,and is more suitable for the cultivation of students' core quality.It takes "adhering to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,the people being the masters of the country,and the unity of governing the country according to law" as the main line to arrange the content,and systematically presents the process of socialist democratic politics and the construction of the rule of law with Chinese characteristics.It is the first time to set up the law as an independent module,systematically and scientifically explain the course,general objectives and general requirements of the construction of the rule of law in China based on history,and systematically present the legal knowledge in the teaching materials for the first time,which is conducive to cultivating students' legal literacy and deepening political identity.Due to the great differences between politics and the rule of law and political life,the main purpose of this paper is to find out the specific changes and characteristics of the new teaching materials through comparative analysis of the two editions of teaching materials;through comparative analysis of the teaching design of the two editions of teaching materials,to explore the changes of the teaching design of the new teaching materials,and combine with the teaching experience Learning from practice puts forward strategies for the use of teaching materials and teaching design.The first part: the introduction describes the realistic background of the research,that is,the new era,analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of this research topic,summarizes the relevant research results of previous scholars,and analyzes the innovation and shortcomings of this research.The second part: the new changes of politics and the rule of law.After carefully comparing the two editions of textbooks,this paper analyzes the changes in visual presentation and perceptual use of textbooks from two aspects of presentation mode and content setting.In the part of presentation mode,it makes quantitative statistics on charts and columns,and takes data analysis as a strong support for the research results;In the aspect of content setting,it adopts the method of comparative study with the old textbooks,presents the addition,deletion and integration between the new and old textbooks in the form of tables,and clearly presents the specific changes of the contents of the textbooks.Based on the specific analysis of the changes in all aspects of the teaching materials,this paper sums up the three characteristics of "unity" embodied in the teaching materials.The third part: new changes in the teaching design of politics and the rule of law.Taking a lesson "China's fundamental political system" which is highly overlapped in the two editions of teaching materials as an example,this paper makes an analysis of the teaching design.By comparing the teaching design of the new and old editions,it can be found that the teaching design of the new teaching materials is highly consistent with the curriculum standards and the new requirements of talent cultivation,and combines the situational teaching method with the topic based teaching method,so as to give full play to the initiative of students in the learning process;In addition,more attention should be paid to the cultivation and development of students' specific subject core literacy in "doing".The fourth part: "politics and the rule of law" textbook use and teaching design strategy.Combined with the era background of Ideological and political course reform and innovation,this paper deeply analyzes the challenges faced by ideological and political teachers and the "utilitarian" dilemma faced by ideological and political course learning in the new era;On the basis of the research in the first two chapters,this paper puts forward the strategies for the use of teaching materials,that is,to deal with the relationship between teachers and teaching materials,teachers and themselves,the stability of teaching materials and the development of the times,and to clearly understand the teaching materials is an important prerequisite for the good use of teaching materials.At the same time,the new requirements of the ideological and political course reform and innovation and development are integrated into the teaching design concept,combined with the specific educational practice,the teaching design strategies are put forward.
