| Since the implementation of the strategy of becoming a maritime power at the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,marine education has continuously received high attention from the country.Marine education is the foundation for the implementation of the marine power strategy and the development of the marine economy.High school marine education can provide important talent support for the development of China’s marine industry.During the implementation of the new college entrance examination,the teaching proportion of marine education has increased,but there are still some difficulties in the teaching process.Therefore,combining previous research and relevant theories,this article conducts a research on the current situation and countermeasures of marine education in Xingyang City,Henan Province,with a view to promoting the progress of marine teaching practice and promoting the development of marine education in senior high school.This article first analyzes the current research situation at home and abroad through the literature research method,and makes a study on the definition and theoretical basis of the new college entrance examination and marine education concepts.Secondly,through questionnaire and interview methods,with teachers and students in Xingyang City,Henan Province as the survey objects,the survey questionnaire on the status of marine education was distributed and interviews were conducted.The survey results were compared with data to analyze the current situation of marine education and analyze the causes.Thirdly,based on the results of the investigation and research,combined with the actual teaching situation and relevant theories,formulate targeted marine education countermeasures.Finally,through the case study method,the relevant curriculum example "Marine Space Resource Development and National Security" was designed,and countermeasures were applied to the case design,and classroom implementation and evaluation were conducted to further improve the research results.The starting point of this article is to conduct marine survey and research for teachers and students in school.Questionnaire data survey,solution formulation,and teaching case design are all carried out from school research,which can effectively analyze the problems in marine education and propose targeted countermeasures,which has a certain practical guiding significance for teaching.The focus of this study is on questionnaires and interviews for teachers and students,which are the basis of the study.Based on the survey data,data statistics and comparisons can be made to obtain a combination of the current situation of the oceans and improve relevant countermeasures.The innovation of this article lies in the fact that the educational background of the research is different from the previous literature.The research on marine education in the context of the new college entrance examination is a topic with less research on previous literature.The research in this background is conducive to understanding the latest marine teaching situation.Through questionnaire research and interview research,and analysis of relevant data,it can be concluded that the current situation of marine education in senior high schools is as follows:(1)The marine awareness of ordinary high school students has significantly improved,such as marine environmental awareness,resource awareness,and political awareness,which have been enhanced during the development of marine education;(2)The teaching methods of marine education are mostly traditional,and teachers still use traditional methods such as teaching methods in marine education under the background of the new college entrance examination,which is not conducive to the cultivation of students’ core geographical literacy.(3)The way for students to acquire knowledge is relatively simple,and classroom learning and online resources are the main channels for students to acquire marine knowledge.(4)The effectiveness of students’ marine learning is relatively low.When receiving marine education,students value scores rather than improving their abilities,and their mastery of marine knowledge that they have learned is poor.In order to effectively improve the problems encountered in marine education in senior high schools and optimize the effectiveness of education and teaching,this article proposes countermeasures related to the current situation of marine education based on practical teaching and learning cognitive theory:(1)Teaching design focuses on students’ initiative,emphasizes that students are the main body of classroom activities,and relevant teaching design should comply with students’ cognitive laws;(2)Enrich campus marine cultural activities,such as: marine themed photography exhibitions,marine speech competitions,marine interest courses,and other forms of marine campus cultural activities;(3)Pay attention to the research and development of teaching resources,pay attention to collecting teaching materials when designing marine teaching,pay attention to teaching and research activities,and effectively create teaching resources that meet the development of our school;(4)Teaching evaluation attaches importance to the cultivation of students’ literacy,that is,not taking a single exam score as the standard for evaluation of marine education,but rather cultivating students’ learning ability,marine awareness,moral values,and other face-to-face qualities.Ocean education is crucial to the development of students’ ocean awareness and ocean quality.I hope this study can provide some reference for the teaching of ocean education in senior high schools.In the future,the author will also continue to pay attention to ocean education research in the teaching practice of the new college entrance examination. |
