With the popularization of the Internet and the growth of digital economy,the online game industry actively promotes high-quality development,and continues to exert influence and play a role in various fields of economy,culture,science and technology,and humanities,and has become an important part of China’s cultural industry.In order to achieve the high-quality development of the online game industry,whether the policy is scientific and reasonable is a crucial factor to achieve the development goal.Policy tool is the specific means needed to achieve the policy goal.Therefore,it can form a policy tool system that plays an important role in the market structure of the online game industry and the content production of online games.Through a long-term analysis of online game industry policies,this paper attempts to study a series of issues such as what policy tools are used in the process of promoting the development of online game industry,what features are presented in the process of application of policy tools,what shortcomings exist in what aspects,and how to optimize the existing policy tools.In order to discuss the above issues,this paper takes the text of Chinese online game industry policy from 2000 to 2022 as the research object,and uses content analysis method and literature research method to make a comprehensive analysis and interpretation.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background and significance,and sorts out the research status of online game industry policy and policy tool theory application at home and abroad.The second chapter is the introduction of online games and online game industry related concepts,policy tools overview,connotation and types of the applicability of this study of online game industry policy analysis,laying a theoretical foundation for the use of policy tools analysis.The third chapter will build a database of collected Chinese online game industrial policy texts,build a two-dimensional analysis framework of policy texts from the two dimensions of policy tools and industrial value chain,build an analysis model,and use Nvivo12 qualitative analysis software to code 181 collected policy texts.According to the policy tools of supply,demand and environmental three aspects of quantitative analysis.The fourth chapter analyzes the weaknesses in China’s online game industry policies based on the above analysis data,and finds that the structure of supply policy tools is unbalance,the lack of demand policy tools is serious,the use of indirect policy tools is excessive and the policy content is repeated and unitary.As well as in the value chain research and development,product investment,production and circulation and consumption four stages of the application of the deficiencies and weaknesses.The fifth chapter,aiming at these short boards,puts forward optimization strategies,adjusts and increases the application of supply and demand policy tools,and directly promotes the development of the network game industry.The application of policy tools in each stage of the value chain should be timely improved and optimized based on the constantly changing actual situation of the Chinese online game industry,so that the online game industry can better promote the high-quality development of the Chinese economy. |
