The primary goal of education is to cultivate people through virtue,so that students not only have excellent talents,but also possess noble moral character.In education,the goal of teachers is not only to impart professional knowledge and skills to students,but also to cultivate students’ correct outlook on life,world outlook,and values through good educational methods,so that they can become qualified builders and successors in line with the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Therefore,this article mainly studies how to integrate the ideological and political elements of the curriculum into the course "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides" in secondary vocational schools,in order to cultivate students’ patriotism,socialist ideology,and love for the tourism industry,and improve their comprehensive quality and professional ethics.By integrating ideological and political education into curriculum design,students will gain a deeper understanding of the development process of the country,society,and themselves during their professional courses,establish correct concepts,and better fulfill their social responsibilities in life,becoming a new generation with noble morality and outstanding talents.This study provides some useful ideas and methods for the integration of ideological and political education in secondary vocational tourism courses.The study first explained the connotation of "curriculum ideological and political education" and "ideological and political curriculum",and pointed out that ideological and political education is an important component of secondary vocational education.It is necessary and feasible to integrate curriculum ideological and political education into the "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides",which can strengthen students’ ideological and moral construction,improve their comprehensive quality and employment ability.Secondly,the paper elaborates on the specific methods and practices of integrating ideological and political education into the course "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides" in secondary vocational schools.And detailed explanation through actual cases.At the same time,it also introduces the issues and difficulties that need attention in the practice process.Finally,the research reflected and summarized the implementation effect of instructional design.The results show that the integration of ideological and political education into the teaching of "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides" has improved students’ ideological and political qualities,and deepened their patriotic feelings,social responsibility,and professional identity.In addition,students’ moral emotions and comprehensive abilities have also improved.The integration of ideology and politics in the curriculum of "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides" in secondary vocational schools is feasible and effective.In short,this paper explores the specific practical methods and effectiveness evaluation of curriculum ideological and political integration in secondary vocational schools based on practice,providing useful reference and reference for the integration of curriculum ideological and political integration in tourism professional courses in secondary vocational schools.This study has achieved some results,but there are still several shortcomings.Firstly,it is difficult to take into account the changes in each student’s ideological and political learning during the teaching process;Secondly,the scope of the survey is relatively limited,and only three classes in the internship school have been surveyed.Moreover,due to geographical constraints,there are certain limitations in the collection of questionnaires and interviews;Thirdly,due to the heavy teaching tasks of this course and the large amount of professional knowledge that students need to learn,it is difficult for students’ ideological and political literacy to change steadily in a short time.The implementation of curriculum ideological and political education is a long-term and complex process that requires the full cooperation of schools,teachers,class teachers,and others to comprehensively carry out ideological and political education work in order to cultivate high-quality tourism talents.
