| Objective: With the accelerating pace of modern basketball offense and defense, footwork has become a key factor affecting the technical and tactical play of basketball and deciding the winner of the game.In recent years, high school basketball has become increasingly popular in China, and the high school basketball league has been gradually improved, and more and more high school students are participating in basketball. However, the training method for high school students’ basketball foot movement ability is relatively single, and the grassroots basketball coaches generally teach and train according to their own experience, which leads to the slow improvement of high school students’ foot movement ability.Ladder training,as a widely used footwork training method, has been proved by many scholars through experimental research to effectively improve the basketball footwork ability of high school students, while SAQ training,as an emerging training method, has the training principles of speed, multidirectional movement and quick start, which are consistent with the characteristics of basketball footwork, but few scholars have applied it to basketball footwork training.Based on this,by comparing the effects of SAQ training and Ladder training on high school students’ basketball foot movement ability, exploring more reasonable and effective training methods for high school students’ basketball foot movement becomes an inevitable requirement for improving technical and tactical level and winning games. Methods: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of SAQ training and Ladder training on the basketball foot movement ability of high school students. The research methods such as literature method, expert interview method, questionnaire method, experimental method and mathematical and statistical method were used.Thirty high school students from Heze Yichuang Spring Exam School were used as the experimental subjects. Before the experiment, height, weight,BMI,age, and exercise level and injury were tested and investigated, and the experimental subjects were divided into SAQ group and soft ladder group using the random grouping method,with15 students each.A total of 12 weeks,3 times per week, was conducted, with the SAQ group using the SAQ training method and the soft ladder group using the Ladder training method. After the experiment, the data of the cross quadrant jump test,"T" run test,Illinois agility run test,5.80m×3 folding run test and restricted area movement test were compared and analyzed between the two groups to reach the final conclusion. Results: 1.Compared with the pre-experimental period, the SAQ group and the soft ladder group showed highly significant improvement in the cross quadrant jump test, the "T" run test, the Illinois agility run test, the 5.80m×3 fold run test, and the restricted area movement test(P<0.01).2.After the experimental intervention, the SAQ group improved very significantly more than the soft ladder group in the Illinois Sensitivity Run test(p<0.01).3.After the experimental intervention, the SAQ group improved significantly more than the soft ladder group in the "T" run test,5.80 m x 3fold run test, and restricted area movement test(P<0.05).4.After the experimental intervention, there was no significant difference between the SAQ group and the soft ladder group in the improvement of the cross quadrant jump test(P > 0.05).Conclusion: 1.SAQ training and Ladder training both significantly improved high school students’ basketball footwork.2.SAQ training was significantly better than Ladder training in improving high school students’ basketball footwork by continuously changing direction.3.SAQ training was significantly better than Ladder training in improving high school students’ basketball footwork by sharply stopping and changing direction, accelerating in a straight line, and coordinating various footwork changes.4.SAQ training and Ladder training were equally effective in improving multi-directional jumping ability in high school basketball footwork. |
