| In recent years,as women have become more educated, the number of working women has increased and they are actively involved in a variety of activities and are an important force for social progress. However, the traditional "male-dominated,female-dominated" division of roles between men and women still requires women to maintain a balance between work and family. The conflict between family and work roles is an important factor affecting the balance between professional women’s career development and family life, and by intervening in this group of married women employees,we can promote both their own development and social stability and harmony. This study investigates the current situation and causes of the "work-family" balance dilemma of married female employees in Y Internet company. The study found that the current situation of work-family balance among married female employees is: conflict of time and energy between the dual roles of work and family;inadequate family support;obstacles to career advancement and development;and excessive professional pressure to balance work and family. This study found that the reasons for the work-family balance dilemma are: the lack of cognitive ability of married female employees at the individual level;insufficient family support;and less policy support at the social level and insufficient institutional support at the organisational level. In order to address the work-family balance dilemma of married female employees, this study used social work practice interventions such as case work and group work, and relied on social support theory to carry out interventions. After the case work intervention, the social worker found that the client’s personal cognitive ability was enhanced;the client received support from family members and the organisation, and the married female employee was able to alleviate the work-family balance dilemma to a certain extent. After the group work intervention, the social worker found that the group members took the initiative to seek family support and obtained the support of the organisation’s relevant system. Finally, the study proposes suggestions for improvement at the individual, family, organisational and societal levels to help married female employees alleviate their work-family balance dilemma and enable them to better balance work and family. |
