The prospects and goals of the development of national sports determine the rise and fall of China’s sports,carry the dream of China’s national rejuvenation,and the construction of a strong sports country marks the prosperity of the national movement.In the "14th Five-Year Plan",China put forward the strategic goal of "sports power",comprehensively interpreted China’s achievements in the "13th Five-Year Plan" and the problems facing China’s sports development,and at the same time made important instructions and arrangements for China’s relevant sports fields,while firming up the correct political direction,constantly strengthening organizational guarantees,strengthening and deepening institutional reform,and increasing policy support.This not only reflects the due meaning of a strong and prosperous country,but also reflects that the construction of sports is closely related to the prosperity of the country and the lives of the people of the country,and is an important part of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.From the sports option courses opened by various colleges and universities,it can be seen that the "three big balls" is a common course in the school,because of its entertainment,extensiveness,competitiveness and other characteristics,deeply loved by the majority of students,from the number of people who choose courses,basketball option courses are particularly favored by students,there are many classes,and the number of people who choose basketball classes is also very large,but in the interview survey of teachers and students,it is found that there will be many problems in the teaching process,such as the classroom teaching atmosphere is not high,and the enthusiasm of students in the classroom is poor,Therefore,the teaching effect and teaching quality are still very insignificant.Through further interviews and investigations,it was found that in the current teaching mode of ordinary college basketball public sports option courses,the teaching methods are based on a "one-size-fits-all" teaching mode,in which it is difficult for teachers to take into account the differences in each student’s receptivity and physical characteristics,and students’ attitudes towards optional courses.At the same time,due to the limited ability of students,it is difficult to keep up with the progress of the course,but because of the teaching effect and progress of the entire class,can only follow the progress of most of the students,it is difficult to consider the individual differences of individual students,in the face of such a situation,how to carry out basketball teaching more efficiently and targeted is an important problem faced by college basketball option courses.Hierarchical teaching is to make a reasonable division according to students’ basic ability,receptive ability,mastery ability,student potential,etc.,through the division to design different teaching content,adjust different teaching progress,formulate different teaching objectives for teaching,through this way for different levels of students to carry out targeted teaching,so that each student can adapt to the teaching content and difficulty,stabilize the teaching progress and goals,give full play to the characteristics and potential of students at each level,and at the same time subtly cultivate students’ independent ability,Build students’ self-confidence,enhance students’ interest in learning,and enable them to develop in an all-round way.In this teaching mode,it breaks through the traditional teaching mode,can pay attention to individual differences,teach according to the cognitive level of students at different levels,and fully meet the interests and personality development of students at different levels.In the physical education curriculum,layered teaching is also used,through the physical fitness,athletic ability,technical level and other aspects of different students,which is conducive to improving the teaching effect and teaching quality,and better completing the physical education goals.The research project in this paper uses literature method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,logical analysis method and other research methods to conduct experimental research results on the teaching of basketball public physical education courses in colleges and universities:1.According to the results of the pre-class and after-class test of the experimental class,the learning enthusiasm,learning interest and learning attitude of the experimental group after layered teaching are better than those of the control group,and at the same time,the layered teaching method can promote students to change their attitude towards basketball option class and improve the teaching effect in basketball public physical education option courses.2.In the teaching process,the layered teaching method greatly improves students’ shooting ability,actual combat competition,round-trip dribbling and basket ability,mastery of sports technology and movements more comprehensively,classroom atmosphere and student concentration are also relatively high.3.The layered teaching method is targeted teaching,which is conducive to cultivating students’ self-confidence,establishing good physical exercise habits,essentially changing students’ resistance to sports elective courses,actively participating in sports life,and improving the physical health level of college students.At the same time,the hierarchical teaching mode pays more attention to the personality development of students,puts each student in the core position,meets the needs of different students through different teaching content,goals and progress,the overall teaching effect is remarkable,the teaching quality has been greatly improved,and it reflects a strong advantage in the non-hierarchical teaching method.
