In order to promote the development of my country’s education to further adapt to the changes in the era of great social change,education policies have been continuously adjusted,which puts forward higher requirements for students and parents in the new era.With the rapid changes of various elements such as information,technology,media,and resources,coupled with the pursuit of higher-level needs by parents themselves,their educational anxiety continues to intensify and amplify.As the backbone of the family and social structure,parents shoulder an important historical mission and the requirements of the times.If anxiety is left unchecked and causes it to accumulate for a long time,it will inevitably endanger individuals and threaten family health.Based on my own observations and records of the client and her interaction with her son,the author estimates the client who actively seeks help,and then discusses the specific interview goals and plans with the client according to the definition of the client’s problems.In the early stage of the service,the author conducted six offline interviews and two online follow-up interviews according to the intervention path of narrative therapy.According to the self-narrated storyline of the client,the neglected details in life are excavated,and then amplified to form a valuable branch story,and the new picture presented in the reconstructed dialogue is integrated into the real life of the client,with the help of social The information processing theory guides the client and his son to deal with the conflicts caused by education issues in life from the perspective of mutual understanding,which improves the ability of both parties to deal with and cope with negative emotions.In the later stage of the service,the author conducted a comprehensive evaluation through the methods of social worker self-evaluation,client self-evaluation,process evaluation,and result evaluation,and judged from the improvement of both the client and his son in the follow-up plan that the client’s anxiety had returned to a normal level,and the case was successfully closed.The research results indicate that: first,information processing theory can help parents to correctly understand educational anxiety.Second,information processing theory can help parents deal with educational anxiety rationally.Third,narrative therapy helps parents build self-confidence.Fourth,narrative therapy has guiding significance for individual cases to intervene in parental education anxiety.When using narrative therapy to intervene,this article borrows short videos and movie content to pave the way,which strengthens the client’s understanding of information processing theory,and has a corresponding enlightening effect on future research by social workers and intervention in help-seekers’ anxiety.
