In recent years,the new version of the history textbook has been put into use,and many changes have been made compared with the old version,among which the knowledge about the map of China’s territory and the change of its history has increased.The 2020 revision of the "History Curriculum Standards for ordinary high schools" also indicates that "the changes of China’s historical territories" can be taken as an important topic for high school students to study.At the same time,the Chinese nation is at an important moment in its modernization drive,and we are more capable than ever of resolving territorial issues left over from the past.Therefore,history teaching should conform to the changes of The Times and pay attention to the study of the changes of ancient Chinese territory.The territory map is a beneficial tool for students to understand and learn the knowledge of China’s territory changes,and also plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students’ core quality of history.High school history teachers should pay more attention to the role of territorial maps,make reasonable use of territorial maps,lead students to understand the knowledge of China’s territorial changes,provide ideological guidance to students,cultivate students’ patriotic feelings,and promote students to fight for safeguarding national unity and ethnic unity.This paper reviews the research status of historical map teaching and the teaching of ancient Chinese territory change,and defines the concept of territory map according to the previous research results.In order to reflect the importance of territory map in high school history teaching,this paper introduces the teaching value of territory map from the perspective of the core quality of history discipline,and summarizes the sources of territory map.Based on the important value of the territory map,this paper sorted out the process of China’s territorial changes through the integration of history teaching content,and integrated the scattered knowledge according to the chronological order to form the knowledge context of the territorial changes.In order to understand the teaching status of territory map,this paper selects some high school students in Kaifeng city to conduct a questionnaire survey,analyzes the problems existing in the current history teaching according to the relevant data,and puts forward the teaching strategy of correctly using the territory map.Finally,in order to study the practical application of territory maps and reflect the feasibility of teaching strategies,this paper carries out a theme teaching design in the direction of "China’s territorial changes in the past dynasties",analyzes and reflects on the teaching effect,and clarified the effectiveness and shortcomings of teaching cases,hoping to provide certain reference value for the study of territorial changes and the application of territory maps in high school history teaching. |
