Territory means the scope or area of the territory.Since then,although there have been divisions and civil strife in China 's history,and the territory has expanded and contracted,the unification trend in the world has never changed.The Chinese national unity with the Han nationality as the main body and multinational development has continued to develop,and China 's territory has also expanded.The people of all nationalities have gradually stabilized under the common development.Territory teaching is inseparable from the territory map.The territory map is a visual representation of the territory and its changes on a map during a certain historical period.Territorial map teaching is an important material to guide students to understand the changes of territories in the historical period.Through the teaching of territorial maps,students can cultivate their historical time-space concept and historical interpretation ability,so that they can develop a correct historical materialism and family feelings.The thesis aims to discuss the application of the Chinese territory map in the history teaching of junior high school.It is divided into five parts.The introduction describes the background and significance of the topic selection,reviews the research results on the teaching of historical maps and territorial maps,introduces the research ideas of the thesis,introduces the research methods of the thesis and the innovations of the thesis on the basis of the predecessors.The first chapter defines the concept of territory and territory map,and systematically introduces the teaching content and teaching value of territory map.The second chapter takes Xiaoyuesi Middle School as an example,through a questionnaire survey on the students of the third grade,to analyze the current status of the application of the Chinese territory map in the junior middle school history class.Interviews with 12 teachers in the school to analyze teachers' understanding and application of China's territory map.Find out where the problem lies through investigation and interviews,and analyze the cause of the problem.The third chapter puts forward the improvement strategy used in the history teaching of junior middle school.It is proposed that teachers should follow the requirements of course standards,base on textbooks and textbooks,clearly clarify the principles used,highlight the main role of students,and at the same time improve the teaching methods and give play to the leading role of teachers so as to improve the quality of teaching and achieve teaching goals.The fourth chapter is a teaching caseabout the territory map based on the previous article.In the teaching case,through the arrangement of the teaching content and appropriate teaching methods,the teaching content about the Chinese territory map is highlighted,so as to cultivate the students' sense of time and space and the sense of family feelings.
