With the introduction of state policies to promote the development and reform of the vocational education,the position of the vocational education has gradually risen.It is an urgent problem to alleviate the learning burnout of secondary vocational school students and improve their learning ability so as to transfer skilled talents to the country.Previous studies have found that school belonging is closely related to learning burnout,and learning motivation can significantly predict learning burnout.This study surveyed 1,890 students in a secondary vocational school in Hunan Province,the Psychological Sense of School Membership Scale,the self-rating scale of Learning Motivation and the Learning Burnout scale were used to assess the school belonging,the severity of learning motivation problems and the learning burnout level of secondary vocational school students respectively,the purpose was to explore the effect of school belonging on learning burnout and the mediating role of learning motivation of secondary vocational school students.The results were as follows:1.The learning burnout of secondary vocational school students was above the middle level.2.The sense of school belonging of Secondary Vocational school students was significantly different in gender,left-behind and grade,as follows: the school sense of belonging of male students was higher than that of female students,the school sense of belonging of left-behind students was lower than that of non-left-behind students,and the school sense of belonging of the third grade was the highest;There were significant differences in the degree of learning motivation problems between single-child and grade,which was manifested in the single-child and the first-grade students of secondary vocational school.There was a significant difference in the level of learning burnout in grades,With the increase of grades,learning burnout showed a significant downward trend.3.There was a significant correlation between the sense of school belonging,learning motivation and learning burnout.Among them,the sense of school belonging and learning motivation problems,the sense of school belonging and learning burnout were significantly negative correlation,learning motivation problems and learning burnout was significantly positive correlation.4.Learning motivation played a mediating role between school belonging and learning burnout.The sense of school belonging of Secondary Vocational school students not only directly influenced learning burnout,but also indirectly influenced learning burnout through learning motivation.According to the results of this study,the following suggestions are put forward:schools can improve the sense of school belonging of Secondary Vocational school students by carrying out a variety of activities,so that students have a sense of attachment and identity to the school,which helps to alleviate students’ learning motivation problems,thus reducing the level of learning burnout,school teachers should also pay attention to the specific performance of students’ learning motivation,help students form a scientific and reasonable level of learning motivation,establish good learning interest and appropriate learning goals.
