The group of secondary vocational students is a relatively special group in the existing education system,“bad learning”,“strong rebellious attitude”and other such labels are stick on them.The secondary vocational students lack of self-improvement ability and participation in society,and under the public’s negative cognition,they tend to be self-denial.They desire to participate in social activities,and disire to be recognized by others.However,they often find no sense or value in their activities.Over time,the sense of belonging of secondary vocational students is low.Student volunteer community is the important supplement.Let the student integrate into the society and accepted by a social role which is not affected by grades,family background or social status.In this way,students can enhance their ability,improve their social adaptability.And they also can gain personal value and sense of achievement in social participation and enhance their sense of belonging.The paper is based on the group work service in a volunteer community of S vocational high school in Wuhan.The them of search is improving the sense of belonging.The 24 members in volunteer community are the objects of my group work.Based on the sense of belonging,through enhancing the individual ability of members to enhance their sense of belonging,guide members to enrich campus activities to enhance their sense of belonging to the school,and lead members to participate in social volunteer activities to enhance their sense of social belonging.I evaluate the service effect by the questionnaires and sacales,as well as my observations,member sharing after activities.In this process,members are the major character,and the service methods and contents are constantly adjusted to achieve a sense of belonging.In the end,on the basis of the development of community and the evaluation results,I conclude that,the group work for the volunteer community in vocational school can effectively enhance the self belonging,school belonging and social belonging.And in the form of volunteer service,a new approach has been created for social work,to tap the advantages of vocational students,enhance the motivation and ability,effectively expand the scope of radiation of service to achieve group empowerment.Social work service for secondary vocational students,making full use of their initiative and enthusiasm.Among them,post-employment students are thesubject of action,linking appropriate resources and guiding them to achieve good results;the problem of secondary vocational students is due to long-term accumulation,not short-term Social service can solve,use continuous service and track service effect,can achieve service effect more effectively However,there are still many problems in the improvement of sense of belonging.For example,how to internalize the effectiveness into the capabilities of students,and how to improve the environment of students,etc.These problems are also worth further exploration and practice. |
