In recent years,the state attaches great importance to the development of vocational education and implements the plan to improve the quality of vocational education.Under this background,secondary vocational education has begun to actively explore the direction of professional curriculum reform and design diversified teaching methods to improve the quality of vocational education.As a basic course of tourism service and management major in secondary vocational schools,Chinese Tourism Geography is complicated,abstract and not closely related to real life,so it needs to be adjusted in the new era.How to help learners correctly understand knowledge,memorize knowledge and build their own knowledge system has become an important issue in the curriculum reform of secondary vocational education.Knowledge visualization can promote educational technology to optimize teaching effect,and help students correctly understand,memorize and apply knowledge.Knowledge visualization into the teaching of Chinese Tourism Geography in secondary vocational schools is of great significance for improving the teaching effect of the course.This paper takes dual coding theory and cognitive load theory as guidance.First of all,after determining the research content,it uses literature research method to sort out relevant literature and understand the current research status at home and abroad.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interview survey,the teaching status of "Chinese Tourism Geography" in secondary vocational schools is understood and the feasibility of knowledge visualization application in the course is analyzed.On this basis,the application of knowledge visualization tools in the course is introduced.Then,based on knowledge visualization,the teaching scheme of this course is designed,and the effect of teaching practice is analyzed and tested by action research,questionnaire and interview.Finally,the conclusion is drawn and the future is prospected.This article consists of seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research purpose and significance,research content,research ideas and methods,research status,analysis of core concepts and theoretical basis.The second part is a survey of the teaching status of "Chinese Tourism Geography" in secondary vocational schools.After the survey design and implementation,the survey results are obtained.The third part is the feasibility analysis of the application of knowledge visualization in the teaching of Chinese Tourism Geography in secondary vocational schools.The fourth part mainly introduces the application of knowledge visualization tool in this course.The fifth part is the knowledge visualization teaching scheme design of Chinese Tourism Geography in secondary vocational schools.The sixth part is the teaching practice and effect analysis of knowledge visualization in this course.The seventh part is the conclusion and prospect.It is concluded that knowledge visualization can be used as an educational concept to assist teachers to optimize teaching design.The use of knowledge visualization tools can stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve students’ sense of participation and classroom interaction,so as to improve learning efficiency;Knowledge visualization teaching can promote students’ innovative thinking and practical ability,and also help students better understand the nature and connection of knowledge,and put forward the prospect of the application of virtual visualization technology in secondary vocational tourism classroom.
