With the vigorous development of higher education in China,major universities continue to expand enrollment,and the number of college students is increasing year by year.At the same time,in the post epidemic era,the global economic downturn has led to a contraction in the demand for economic development,and the supply of employment has been severely impacted,resulting in a saturation state of oversupply in the talent market.The superposition of various factors makes the employment situation faced by college students increasingly severe,which to a large extent increases the employment pressure of college students and triggers their employment anxiety.College students’ employment anxiety will lead to their negative psychological state,which will reduce their sense of self-efficacy and achievement,and begin to generate self doubt,self denial,and even make self injurious behaviors.It can be seen that employment anxiety has a certain impact on the physical and mental health of college students.The author uses advantage perspective theory and ABC theory as theoretical guidance,and uses group social work methods to intervene in college students’ employment anxiety.In the practical operation process of this article’s group,the author corrects college students’ self cognition and employment outlook through cognitive correction,advantage mining,and other techniques,and helps college students explore their own advantages and available employment resources around them,thereby effectively alleviating college students’ employment anxiety,enabling them to regain employment confidence,and facing employment with a more positive attitude.This article takes the advantage perspective theory and ABC theory as theoretical guidance,and uses group social work methods to intervene in the employment anxiety problem of college students.In the process of group practical operation,cognitive correction,advantage mining and other techniques are used to correct college students’ self-awareness and employment views,and to help them explore their own advantages and available employment resources around them.This effectively alleviates college students’ employment anxiety,enables them to regain employment confidence,and faces employment with a more positive attitude.Firstly,a survey questionnaire was distributed to college students from T University and G University in L City to understand their basic employment status and employment anxiety index.Based on the data collected from the survey questionnaire,SPSS 23.0 was used for data analysis to compare the employment anxiety index of different college students.It was found that there were gender differences,professional differences,and grade differences in their employment anxiety.At the same time,a semi-structured personal interview was conducted on college students using the interview method.Based on the interview results,the causes of college students’ employment anxiety were divided into personal factors,family factors,school factors,and social factors.Secondly,based on the data analysis results of SPSS.23 and personal interview materials,design a group activity plan and recruit team members.At the same time,name the group ’Skilled Assistance,Anxiety Alleviation’.This article takes the advantage perspective theory and ABC theory as the theoretical basis for group activities,reconstructs the cognition of team members,excavates their employment advantages,develops their employment advantages,and enables them to correctly view employment anxiety and master effective skills to deal with it,thereby reducing the degree of employment anxiety among team members.Once again,objective evaluation of the effectiveness of group activities is conducted by setting up process evaluation and result evaluation links to evaluate the effectiveness of the group activities carried out in this article in alleviating employment anxiety among team members.Finally,the entire process of group activities conducted was summarized,and the practical experience of this group social work was reflected.The shortcomings of this group social work practice in three aspects: group social work methods,group activity design,and the practical ability of social workers themselves were pointed out.In response to the above shortcomings,propose improvement suggestions in three aspects: combining individual social work methods,strengthening the diversity of group activities,and improving one’s own practical level.
