Labor education plays a crucial role in the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics,providing a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of education.In 2020,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools in the New Era",and the Ministry of Education issued the "Guiding Outline for Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools(Trial)",providing comprehensive policy guidance for labor education in universities,middle schools,and primary schools to promote the comprehensive development of students.In April2022,the Ministry of Education issued the "Labor Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education",which is a stricter regulation and requirement for labor education curriculum after the "Opinions" and "Outline".Labor courses are the way to implement labor curriculum standards.However,there are still many problems and confusion in the implementation process of primary school labor courses.This study focuses on the implementation of labor courses in the middle age of primary school in A district of C city,focusing on the implementation of labor courses in grades three and four.The following issues are explored: the current situation of labor courses implementation in the middle age of primary school;The problems and reasons in the implementation of labor courses;What methods and suggestions are provided for more efficient implementation of labor courses.On the basis of reviewing relevant theoretical and practical literature,the author has developed classroom observation forms,survey questionnaires,and interview outlines,and conducted in-depth and detailed research on the research questions.It has been found that there is a narrowing of teachers’ teaching objectives in the implementation of labor courses in the middle age of primary school;Uneven selection of teaching content types;The teaching form emphasizes teaching;The problem of vague teaching evaluation standards.Based on the content of the "Labor Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education",classroom observation records,questionnaire surveys,and interview results,the author proposes corresponding implementation suggestions for the problems that exist in the implementation process of labor courses.Firstly,it is recommended to establish advanced teaching objectives based on curriculum standards in terms of teaching objectives;Secondly,in terms of teaching content,we should focus on students’ development and choose teaching content in a balanced manner;Once again,the teaching form is mainly based on practical activities,and diversified teaching is flexibly carried out.Finally,we are committed to cultivating students’ correct values and improving the comprehensive evaluation mechanism in teaching evaluation.
