Vocational education is an important part of the national education system and human resources development.It shoulders the important responsibility of cultivating diverse talents,inheriting technical skills,and promoting employment and entrepreneurship.Vocational schools are an important platform for vocational training to serve the growth of skilled talents.It has trained tens of thousands of high-quality technical talents for the development of national economy.To respond to the demand for innovative and comprehensive talents.This paper takes the Photoshop course of secondary vocational school as the starting point,and constructs a project-driven teaching method based on the concept of STEAM(Science,Technology,Engineering,Art and Mathematics).This teaching method integrates science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics.Using this teaching method to carry out teaching activities can promote the interdisciplinary and comprehensiveness in the learning process.It is beneficial to cultivating compound talents with critical thinking and innovative ability.The main work contents are conducted as follows:(1)Collect and organize a large number of relevant literature.Analyze the research status of STEAM education concept and project-driven teaching method at home and abroad,and lay the theoretical foundation for the next research of this paper.(2)According to the survey scheme,we will use the questionnaire survey method and the interview method.Fully understand the learning characteristics and needs of secondary vocational students,and have the mastery of project-driven teaching method and STEAM subject literacy.Analyze the main problems existing in the current classroom teaching process.(3)Based on Piaget’s constructivist learning theory,we analyze the constituent elements of the project-driven teaching method based on the STEAM concept.Adhere to the principle of closely combining STEAM education concept and teaching content,and carry out the project-driven teaching design based on STEAM concept.(4)According to the completed teaching design,take the secondary vocational "Photoshop" course as an example to carry out the teaching experiment.After the teaching experiment,the teaching implementation effect of STEAM concept is tested by questionnaire survey method and theoretical knowledge test.The innovation points of this paper include the innovation of teaching method innovation,teaching evaluation innovation and teaching practice innovation.This study takes Photoshop course in secondary vocational school,and explores a new method of computer professional course teaching through investigation and analysis.The learning effect of students was tested by means of project activity evaluation,student STEAM literacy evaluation,project works evaluation and knowledge and skill level test.Realize the secondary vocational school computer professional teaching evaluation innovation.Combining STEAM education concept with project-driven teaching method is applied to the teaching of Photoshop course in secondary vocational schools,realizing the innovation of teaching practice.The project-driven teaching method based on STEAM concept provides new ideas for the reform of secondary vocational education teaching and new methods for cultivating high-quality talents in secondary vocational schools.
