Tourism has become a strategic industry in China in the 21 st century.In order to adapt to the rapid development of the tourism industry,the expansion of the scale of the tourism industry and the differentiation and transformation of the tourism market,it has become an inevitable trend to promote the transformation and upgrading of China’s tourism industry.In order to cope with the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry,it also puts forward higher requirements for the professional skills and professional qualities of the tour guides.Secondary vocational schools play a pivotal role in the training of tour guides.The course "Tour guide business" is one of the core courses of the tourism service specialty in secondary vocational schools.The course is very practical,however,there are still some problems such as too old and too simple teaching methods in secondary vocational schools,which seriously hinder the development of students’ initiative and innovation.In order to break the malpractice of the traditional teaching method centered on the subject,to seek the teaching method suitable for the training of talents in vocational education,and to promote the all-round promotion of students’ professional practice ability,professional ability and comprehensive quality,this paper takes "Tour guide business" course as a research case,based on the perspective of professional ability training,explores the application of gradual project-driven teaching method in "Tour guide business" course,in order to improve the students’ ability to use the knowledge to guide service,to find problems,to analyze problems,to solve problems,to achieve the comprehensive quality of students.This paper consists of six parts.The first chapter is the introduction part,put forward the research background and research significance of this article,summarized the professional ability,the gradual project-driven teaching method,the secondary vocational "Tour guide business" course teaching research at home and abroad research summary,the second chapter is the concept definition and theoretical foundation part,which defines the concept of professional ability and gradual project-driven teaching method,and then takes constructivism theory,"Learning by doing" teaching theory and gradual learning theory as the guiding ideology,the third chapter is the current situation of the application of the gradual project-driven teaching method in the curriculum of "Tour guide business" in Secondary vocational schools,to investigate,analyze and summarize the current situation of curriculum teaching and the cognition and evaluation of progressive project-driven teaching method by students and teachers,it also analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the gradual project-driven teaching method,and puts forward that the "Tour guide business" course is suitable for the gradual project-driven teaching method,the design principle,teaching flow frame design,curriculum teaching goal design and curriculum teaching project implementation design are expounded,this paper discusses in detail the tentative plan and concrete implementation process of gradual project-driven teaching method in the course of "Tour guide business",and the fifth chapter is the part of teaching evaluation and reflection,based on the analysis of the evaluation of the progressive project-driven teaching method by students and teachers,this paper finds out the deficiencies of the progressive project-driven teaching method in the course of "Tour guide business",and then makes teaching reflection,the application of gradual project-driven teaching method in the course of "Tour guide business" in Secondary vocational schools can not only improve students’ professional ability,but also realize equal emphasis on theoretical and practical education,and improve teaching effect and quality,promoting the training and output of tour guides.It is hoped that the study of this paper can apply the gradual project-driven teaching method to other courses of tourism major in Secondary vocational schools,and contribute to the development of secondary vocational education and tourism industry.
