Under the background of the new college entrance examination reform,the implementation of the class selection and walking system makes the head teachers feel powerless to manage the class,and the participation of subject teachers in the class management is an inevitable requirement of the development of the times.But it is difficult for us educators on how to motivate the enthusiasm of teachers and let them take the initiative to take part in the class management.The author will do research on the problems and countermeasures of the subject teachers’ participation in senior school’s class management under the background of the new college entrance examination reform,which is of great theoretical and practical significance.This research mainly takes the methods of questionnaire survey and individualinterviews to investigate and analyze the current situation of Zhucheng N middle school subjectteachers’ participation in the class management.The following are some problems.In terms of the subject teachers,the action of subject teachers’ participation isinconsistentwith their thought;their participation in class management is narrowly limited to classroom management.Besides,the head teachers lack initiative in inviting subject teachers to participate in the class management and they have insufficient understanding of the new requirements of class management.Above all,the school ideologically pays less attention to the participation of subject teachers in the class management;it also lacks the policies to enforce the cooperation in education between subject teachers and head teachers.The reasons are as follows.It is difficult for the subject teachers to change the role to adapt to the new college entrance examination reform;they have a weak ideological awareness of participating in class management;they lack class management skills as well as the confidence and motivation to participate in class management required by the new college entrance examination.Besides,the head teachers sometimes confuse their rights and responsibilities,lacking in the class management literacy under the background of new college entrance examination;the power of the head teachers sometimes exceeds the boundary and they excessively engage in subject teachers’ work;they also lack effective communication with subject teachers and the theoretical literacy in class management.As for the school,there is not enough publicity for the new college entrance examination reform policy;neither are there rules and regulations for class routine management,evaluation system and training system for subject teachers to participate in the class management.Based upon the practical research on the present situation of Zhucheng subject teacher’s participation in the class management and combined with the above reasons,the research puts forward some countermeasures for thesubject teachers to manage theclass efficiently.The subject teachers should renew the educational concept and reshape the role orientation;build the awareness of all-member cultivating people;transform traditional concepts and learn class management concepts required by the new college entrance examination reform;broaden the ways to participate in the class management and improve their comprehensive quality.In terms of the head teachers,reconsider their roles in the class management and build up a harmonious team;take an active part in the training of head teachers to improve their management skills;clarify their own responsibilities and make course selection and class management scientific;coordinate the relationship among subject teachers,students and themselves to build a harmonious class management team.As for school,improve the relevant policies of subject teachers’ participation in the class management;publicize the national education policy and enhance the self-consciousness of subject teachers’ participating in the class management;construct and perfect the evaluation system of subject teachers’ participating in the class management;strengthen the training of subject teachers’ relevant knowledge and skills and enrich the cooperation between subject teachers and head teachers by building various platforms.
