The "Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" proposes in the evaluation recommendations that we should adhere to quality orientation,adhere to promoting learning through evaluation,adhere to multi subject evaluation,and attach importance to performance evaluation."Performance evaluation refers to" in a real or simulated real environment,students use the knowledge they have acquired to solve problems or create something,in order to examine students’ high-level thinking abilities in various aspects."This study introduces performance evaluation to the field of art teaching in junior high schools.Through literature analysis,questionnaire surveys,action research,and other methods,based on various learning tasks in different stages of the art discipline in the 2022 version of the new curriculum standard,Develop matching performance evaluation tasks.The author uses "Creative Art Words" in Grade 6 and"Learning Painting and Freehand Flowers" in Grade 7 as cases to design expressive tasks,develop evaluation standards,design evaluation scales,and apply them to classroom practice,discussing and thinking about promoting teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.This article is divided into the following five parts:The first part is an introduction,which mainly introduces the background of the study,the content and methods of the study,the purpose and significance,and the innovation points.The second part is a theoretical discussion,which discusses the characteristics and definition of performance evaluation,and summarizes constructivism theory,multiple intelligence theory,postmodernism theory and their implications for learning evaluation.The third part is a questionnaire survey,which is compiled and surveyed from five dimensions: basic information,evaluation methods,evaluation standards,evaluation subjects,and evaluation tools to further understand students’ attention to evaluation and the current situation of evaluation application,and to design a specific implementation process for performance evaluation.The fourth part is a case study.Taking Creative Art Characters and Learning Painting and Freehand Flowers as examples,guided by the new curriculum standard,each class sets five expressive tasks,develops corresponding evaluation standards and scales,and adopts multi subject and diversified expressive evaluation methods.Through the implementation of these two cases,the effectiveness and feasibility of expressive evaluation in junior high school art teaching are tested.The fifth part is a reflection summary,reflecting on the process and results of this practical study,summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of this study,affirming performance evaluation,and proposing future research prospects for performance evaluation.In summary,as a new evaluation method,performance evaluation has many advantages and is advocated.Through theoretical and practical research,the author attempts to explore and develop a performance evaluation application process suitable for junior high school art.
