| Performance evaluation is a direct evaluation of the performance process or the final work of students using knowledge and skills.Problem consciousness is a kind of psychological state of doubt and confusion when people encounter practical problems that are difficult to solve and have doubts.This paper introduces the performance evaluation method to junior high school biology teaching classroom,and then explores the performance evaluation to promote the development of students’ problem consciousness.It builds a bridge between the performance evaluation and the cultivation of students’ problem consciousness,and explores the feasibility of implementing the performance evaluation to promote the development of students’ problem consciousness.On the basis of literature review,it defines and combs the basic concepts and related theoretical research of evaluation,the awareness of performance evaluation and problem.The results show that junior high school biology teachers in this area can realize the importance of cultivating students’ problem awareness,but in the actual teaching,they pay more attention to students’ performance and evaluation skills,The problem consciousness of junior high school students is relatively weak;Students agree that they can ask questions to teachers,but many students are not willing to ask questions to teachers because of the influence of teachers’ authority and personal habits;Students are more likely to ask questions to teachers with strong affinity.This paper theoretically analyzes the strategies of performance evaluation which promote students’ problem consciousness,and designs a record table to measure students’ problem consciousness,including problem quantity statistics and problem quality evaluation.Three different performance evaluation methods are applied to three parallel classes with the same academic level to observe the frequency and quality of students’ classroom questioning under different performance evaluation methods.The results show that the three kinds of performance evaluation methods can promote students’ awareness of problems in classroom,and the checklist method and PTA method are the best.Therefore,the following suggestions aim at junior high school biology classroom teaching: classroom evaluation that only timely and effective gives back to students can effectively promote students’ problem consciousness;In the performance evaluation,the sub evaluation method of checklist or PTA should be used;All regions and schools should develop performance evaluation programs that are suitable for their students according to local conditions. |
