With the changes in the times,textbooks used in Chinese in middle schools are also constantly revising and innovating.From 1990 to 2023,there have appeared four editions textbooks in thirty years.And because it can increases students’ scientific knowledge,develops students’ scientific logic and enables students to feel the spirit of scientists,so although scientific works are very different with traditional literary works,students still need to learn.However,some teachers in the teaching process will ignore scientific literacy components of the text,which is detrimental to development a well-rounded student.therefore,based on the curriculum standards,this paper analyzes the reasons for the changes in the science and education type texts and proposes corresponding teaching strategies.This paper is divided into the following chapters:The introductory chapter introduces the origin and significance of the study,the current status of domestic and international research,the research method and the research object.The first chapter defines the specific concepts of“science” and “science education”,and broadly classifies the scientific works in the Chinese textbooks according to their themes,namely: introduction and popularize of scientific knowledge,narration and communication of scientific stories,inspiration and increase of scientific thinking ability,compliment and commendation of the scientific spirituality.And the reason why science education texts are selected in textbooks are analyzed from three perspectives:theory,policy,and the curriculum standards.The second chapter organizes this four editions middle school’s Chinese textbooks,display the numbers of texts and the types of texts.The third chapter compares the science and education type texts in the four editions of the textbooks horizontally,explores the similarities and differences and analyze the reasons.The fourth chapter compares and explores the changes of other components in the textbooks.With such an all-round exploration,a clearer veining of the evolution of teaching materials can be obtained and propose some teaching strategies for the current situation of teaching the science and education texts.
