Labor education is an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics.In the context of the new era,strengthening labor education has profound significance for the construction and development of the country and the growth of students.The textbook ’Morality and Rule of Law’ in junior high school contains a large amount of labor education content,which is an important way for junior high school students to receive labor education in the new era.It is of great significance to carry out labor education in the course of "Ethics and the Rule of Law",leverage the moral advantages of the course,and cultivate students’ correct labor values.Carrying out labor education in the curriculum of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school is an objective requirement for achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era,a need to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people in schools,and a need to promote the comprehensive development of students.It has the value of cultivating morality,intelligence,physical fitness,and aesthetics.The Curriculum Standards for Ethics and Rule of Law in Compulsory Education set requirements for labor education: the nature of the curriculum lays the foundation for labor education,the curriculum philosophy highlights the value of labor education,the curriculum objectives include labor education objectives,and the structure of the curriculum content ensures the implementation of labor education;The textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school contains rich labor education content,which provides feasibility for carrying out labor education in the curriculum of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.Based on the analysis of the "Curriculum Standards for Moral and Rule of Law in Compulsory Education" and the content related to labor education in the textbooks,the implementation path for carrying out labor education in the middle school "Moral and Rule of Law" curriculum is proposed.To carry out labor education in the middle school curriculum of "Morality and Rule of Law",it is necessary to clarify the teaching objectives of labor education in the curriculum and pay attention to the cultivation of labor values;Deeply tap into the resources in textbooks and focus on developing and utilizing other course resources;Choose appropriate teaching methods and forms,attach importance to classroom teaching and extracurricular activities;Design a reasonable evaluation plan,pay attention to the evaluation methods,and improve the labor education evaluation mechanism.Selecting the boxes of "Labor Achieves Today" and "Practical Efforts Create the Future" in the first volume of eighth grade,teaching design is carried out from three aspects: pre class preparation,classroom teaching,and post class reflection,providing practical reference for carrying out labor education in the middle school "Morality and Rule of Law" course.
