Sprint is a fast explosive power sport,its lower extremity action is single leg support alternating force,single and double compound training is a very effective training means to improve explosive power in sprint events.By comparing the influence of single compound training and double compound training on the lower extremity explosive power of male sprinters in colleges and universities,this paper actively explores the application value of single and side compound training in sprinting events.This paper intends to take 12 male sprinters who have reached the level of national second-level athletes in the Institute of Physical Education of Jilin University as the experimental objects by using the methods of literature research,specific experiment,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.12 athletes were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each with 6 persons in each group.The experimental group received unilateral compound training,while the control group received bilateral compound training,and the training control was carried out for 8 weeks.The explosive power indexes of sprinters’ lower limbs were tested and collected before and after the experiment.(1)The results of 30 m,standing long jump and longitudinal jump are significantly improved by single and double compound training,but the effect of single compound training is better and more effective in 30 m performance.(2)In terms of the maximum impulse and maximum explosive power index of double squat jump,double squat jump and single squat jump,double compound training has significant difference in the improvement of double squat jump and double squat jump,but has no significant difference in the improvement of single leg;Unilateral compound training has significant difference in the improvement of squat jump,squat jump and squat jump with both legs.In both groups,the improvement rate of double-leg squat jump and double-leg squat jump experiment was better in the bilateral group than in the unilateral group,and in the improvement rate of double-leg squat jump experiment,the unilateral group was better than the bilateral group.(3)Both unilateral and bilateral compound training can improve the level of lower limb explosive power of sprinters,but the two groups of training modes are different in emphasis.Unilateral compound training is more conducive to improving the athletic performance of the movement with unilateral leg power generation technique,and bilateral compound training is more conducive to improving the athletic performance of bilateral lower limb muscle group collaborative power generation.It is concluded that single and double compound training means should complement and cooperate with each other in training.
