| Physics Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision)proposed that physics teaching should make active use of existing digital media and modern information technology to broaden the way of physics learning;Cultivate and develop students’ independent learning ability in physics teaching.Predict-ObserveExplain(POE)teaching strategy with "prediction,observation,and explanation" as the core emphasizes that students are the main body and students’ thinking is triggered by teachers’ questions,which can mobilize more students to participate in classroom teaching activities and provide an effective way to cultivate students’ ability of independent learning and problem solving.Students’ interest in physics is the key to students’ ability to learn physics well,and physics experiments are very important to improve students’ interest in learning.However,conventional experiments have many limitations and cannot meet the teaching needs.With the widespread application of multimedia and Internet in the field of teaching,virtual simulation experiments which can break through the limitations of conventional experiments gradually enter the stage of teaching,and have been widely used in middle school teaching.Based on this,this paper combines POE teaching strategy and virtual simulation experiment effectively under the guidance of constructivism theory,observation infiltration theory,humanistic theory,POE teaching strategy and virtual simulation experiment with literature research method,case study method,questionnaire method,interview method,etc.The application research of virtual simulation experiment assisted high school physics teaching under POE teaching strategy is carried out.The research work is mainly carried out in the following three aspects:1.Theoretical research.Firstly,this paper reviews relevant literature by literature research method,summarizes the research status and results of POE teaching strategies and virtual simulation experiments at home and abroad,and defines related concepts.Secondly,it analyzes the characteristics of POE teaching strategy and virtual simulation experiment,and the function of virtual simulation experiment to assist high school physics teaching under POE teaching strategy.The virtual simulation experiment software applied in this study is selected as "Ph ET virtual simulation experiment platform" and "simulation Physics Laboratory".Finally,the application principle and process of virtual simulation experiment in high school physics teaching under POE teaching strategy are put forward.2.Case development and design.According to the characteristics of high school physics courses and two virtual simulation experimental software,the case topic is determined.Based on the teaching objectives in the new curriculum standard and combined with the application principles and processes,POE student learning activity lists were made,four case designs were completed,and two cases of Friction Force and Newton’s First Law were applied to teaching practice.3.Application effect analysis.The implementation effect was investigated by means of questionnaire,comprehensive score analysis and teacher exchange and interview.SPSS26.0 and excle were used to analyze the survey results,and the conclusion was drawn: Virtual simulation experiment assisted high school physics teaching under POE teaching strategy can improve students’ interest in physics learning,enhance students’ awareness of independent learning,cultivate students’ problem-solving ability,and promote students’ understanding and mastery of physics knowledge.In addition,it also has a positive impact on student achievement,which also provides a more powerful basis for verifying the positive effect of virtual simulation experiment assisted in high school physics teaching under POE teaching strategy.It is expected that this study can provide references for front-line teachers to apply POE teaching strategies and virtual simulation experiments in teaching. |
