| The concept of student-centered education is the core pursuit of contemporary educational reform practice,and teaching quality is an important criterion to measure whether colleges and universities achieve educational goals.In order to achieve the goal of China’s vocational education reform in the new era,this study focuses on the concept of student-centered education and applies student-centered to the strategy of improving the teaching quality of China’s vocational colleges.Higher vocational colleges and universities are the main institutions for carrying out higher vocational education and assume the main role of the high-quality development of higher vocational education in China.In particular,in 2020,the state proposed a policy of expanding higher vocational enrollment,and its teaching quality has attracted much attention after the scale has been improved.The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)emphasizes that the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges is the lifeline of their development,and improving quality is the key to the sustainable and healthy development of vocational education.C Higher vocational college is an excellent school for teaching reform in the province and region where it is located,through literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,etc.,to carry out case studies on the school,focusing on the connotation characteristics of student center,guided by students’ learning effect and the degree of development,on the basis of analyzing the main components of teaching quality,in-depth exploration of the basic situation of its teaching quality.Summarize the achievements and existing problems of the school in the student-centered teaching reform,then attribute the problems,and finally put forward the strategy of improving the quality of student-centered teaching,so as to promote the student-centered teaching reform of C vocational colleges and provide reform ideas for other vocational colleges.Through the investigation of the current situation of student-centered teaching quality in C vocational colleges,it is found that C vocational colleges have made certain achievements in the practice of student-centered teaching reform,but there are still some problems in teacher teaching,student learning and teaching management,which are mainly manifested in students’ low participation in cognitive learning,uneven student-centered teaching ability of teachers,inadequate use of teaching methods,and the practicality of curriculum arrangement needs to be improved.School teaching management lacks student-centered teaching quality assessment standards and support services.Factors such as students’ weak independent learning ability,the student-centered teaching concept of the teacher group to be improved,the imperfect student-centered teaching quality management system,the need to update the professional setting of the school,and the lack of teaching quality assurance system are the reasons for the problem.Based on the theoretical basis of "Total Quality Management Theory" and "Humanistic Theory",this paper puts forward strategies to improve the teaching quality of vocational colleges around the concept of student-centered: first,take the concept as the guide,and realize the correct understanding of student-centered among teachers and students;The second is to be guided by learning outcomes and improve the student-centered teaching evaluation model,the third is to strengthen the construction of teachers and improve the student-centered teaching ability of teachers,and the fourth is to make efficient use of the classroom to carry out student-centered high-quality teaching;Fifth,improve the teaching management system and provide student-centered teaching service support;Sixth,improve the teaching quality assurance system based on students’ learning effects. |
