Research On The Cultivation Of Labor Spirit Of College Students In The New Era

The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress proposed that we should promote the spirit of hard work,struggle,dedication,creativity and thrift throughout society,and foster a new style and appearance of The Times.College students in the new era,as the successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the backbone of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,should internalize the spirit of labor in the mind and in the practice,and realize the integration of knowledge and practice.In this paper,how to cultivate the labor spirit of college students in the new era as the theme,focuses on the following five aspects.The first part introduces the core concept,basic content and important significance of the cultivation of college students’ labor spirit in the new era.The basic contents include the cultivation of good labor spirit,the formation of correct labor value orientation,the improvement of labor skill level and the cultivation of good labor habits and quality.The important significance is reflected in promoting the all-round development of college students,helping colleges and universities to better fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and talents,and providing more solid talent support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The second part expounds the theoretical origin of the cultivation of college students’ labor spirit in the new era.The Marxist classical writers fully affirmed the importance of labor to the development of human beings and human history and put forward the thought of labor education.The fine traditional Chinese culture contains the labor character of "diligence and frugality",the labor concept of "people-oriented" and the labor feelings of "eulogizing the working people".In the course of its century-long struggle,the Communist Party of China has formed its thought on labor education,which is ideological,contemporary and popular.The third part investigates the current situation of college students’ labor spirit cultivation in the new era and analyzes the reasons by means of questionnaire survey.The current situation includes results and problems: results show that college students love labor more vigorous,labor spirit cultivation system is constantly improved,more abundant forms;The problems are as follows: school cultivation effect is not prominent enough,family cultivation is not important enough,social cultivation atmosphere is not strong enough and college students’ own initiative is not strong enough.The reasons are explored from the four aspects of school,family,society and themselves.Firstly,the school curriculum system,teaching methods and forms of labor activities are affected.Secondly,parents’ wrong ideas lead to the lack of role models;Thirdly,the impact of impetuous social atmosphere and bad social trend of thought leads to the absence of edifying education;Finally,college students’ labor concept is utilitarian,labor identity is not strong and self-cultivation consciousness is weak.The fourth part summarizes the principles,methods and rules of cultivating college students’ labor spirit in the new era.The cultivation principles include the principle of education orientation,the principle of The Times and the principle of coordination.The cultivation methods include theory education method,practice exercise method and example demonstration method.The cultivation law embodies the unity of subject and object,education and practice,and internalization and externalization.The fifth part puts forward the countermeasures of cultivating college students’ labor spirit in the new era.This part is problem-oriented,from strengthening the leading role of the school in cultivation,consolidating the basic position of the family in cultivation,giving play to the supporting role of the society in cultivation and improving the self-education ability of college students four aspects of countermeasures.
