Secondary vocational students are at a very critical stage of physical and mental development, and they are less concerned by their parents than ordinary high school students, feel confused about future development, and are more likely to trigger anxiety.Anxiety is thought to be an important factor influencing procrastination behavior, and rumination may play an important role in this relationship. This study aims to:(1)analyze the predictive effect of anxiety on procrastination behavior and the mediating effect of rumination thinking in it,and construct the relationship between anxiety, rumination thinking and procrastination behavior.(2)The cognitive reassessment strategy was used to develop a group psychological counseling program to intervene in the rumination thinking of middle school students, and the intervention effect was examined to verify the above relationship. The study was divided into questionnaires and interventions.Study 1 used the questionnaire survey method to survey a total of 623 secondary vocational students in three secondary vocational colleges in Jilin Province, and obtained 599 valid questionnaires, and used the independent sample T test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis, regression analysis and mediation effect test in SPSS software for data processing. On the basis of study 1,Study 2sorted the rumination thinking scores of the participants in Study 1 from high to low, selected the top 27% of participants as pre-selected objects, selected participants with high scores of anxiety and procrastination behavior, and sent activity invitations to them.According to the principle of voluntary participation,30 participants were identified and divided into experimental group and control group,15 people each. The experimental group received a total of 6 units of group psychological counseling activities once a week, and the control group did not do intervention, and collected data from two groups of participants before and after the intervention using independent sample T test and paired sample T test for data processing. The results were as follows:(1)The scores of anxiety, procrastination and rumination thinking were significantly higher than those of boys(P<0.001)among girls, and the scores of anxiety, procrastination and rumination thinking were significantly higher among middle school students in class leaders than those of non-class cadres(P<0.01)(2)anxiety,procrastination behavior and rumination thinking were significantly correlated(R>0.7,P<0.01).(3)Anxiety can significantly predict procrastination behavior(p<0.001).(4)Rumination thinking has a partial mediating effect between anxiety and procrastination, and the mediating effect accounts for10.03% of the total effect.(5)Group psychological counseling activities can affect the procrastination behavior of middle vocational students by improving their rumination thinking.Based on the above research results, the following suggestions are made:(1)Prevent and calm the anxiety of middle school students.(2)Home-school linkage pays attention to the rumination thinking of secondary vocational students.(3)Class-teacher synchronously improve the procrastination behavior of middle school students.
