Academic procrastination not only reduces students’ academic achievement,but also causes anxiety,depression and other negative emotions,which is not good for students’ physical and psychological health.With the rapid development of positive psychology,more and more researchers pay attention to the research of resilience,especially the research on the influence of resilience on behavior.Resilience has a positive effect on the development of middle school students’ mental health.Students with high level of resilience are more able to overcome difficulties and challenges in life and study,and reduce the degree of academic procrastination.However,at present,most of the research on academic procrastination focuses on college students,and there are relatively few researches on academic procrastination of secondary vocational students.Moreover,there are relatively few comprehensive empirical studies on resilience and academic procrastination in China.Most of these studies are mainly based on superficial description and comprehensive analysis,and even fewer involve intervention studies.Therefore,the following two studies were conducted:Study one: on the related theory and the existing research both at home and abroad,on the basis of combing with adolescent mental resilience scale,middle school students’ coping styles questionnaire,the questionnaire of middle school students’ academic procrastination,the questionnaire survey was conducted among402 Secondary Vocational Students,explore the secondary resilience,coping styles and the current situation of academic procrastination,the differences in demographic variables and the relationship between the three.Study 2: The experimental group and the control group were used to conduct group psychological intervention on the mental toughness of 16 secondary vocational students,so as to compare the intervention effects of resilience,positive coping style and academic procrastination in the experimental group.The results are as follows:(1)Resilience of secondary vocational students is above the average.The level of academic procrastination was moderate and low.(2)In terms of demographic variables such as gender and one-child,there is no significant difference in the academic procrastination level of secondary vocational students,while there is significant difference in demographic variables such as grade and family origin.The resilience level and coping style of secondary vocational students have no significant differences in gender,one-child,grade and family origin.(3)Resilience of secondary vocational students has a significant positive correlation with positive coping style.Resilience of secondary vocational students has a significant negative correlation with academic procrastination.Positive coping style of secondary vocational students has a significant negative correlation with academic procrastination.There was no significant correlation between negative coping style and resilience and academic procrastination.(4)Psychological resilience of secondary vocational students has a negative direct predictive effect on academic procrastination,while it has an indirect effect on academic procrastination through positive coping styles.(5)The t-test statistical results showed that the group psychological intervention effect of resilience,positive coping style and academic procrastination was significant in the experimental group.It not only improves the resilience of secondary vocational students,improves their coping style,but also reduces their academic procrastination level.
