| In order to implement the goal of "building moral character" and to meet the development trend of global education reform,a joint research group of Beijing Normal University has published "Core Literacy for Chinese Students’ Development",which emphasizes that students should have information awareness in the face of globalization and informationization.Physics experiments are an important way to cultivate students’ information consciousness.Traditional experimental instruments have become incompetent to cultivate students’ information consciousness due to the lack of infusion of new technologies,while data-based experimental instruments that can cultivate students’ information consciousness are expensive and not introduced in some schools.The Phyphox software is a mobile physics experiment software designed and developed by RWTH Aachen University in Germany based on smartphone sensors,which have various built-in experimental programs and can be customized as needed.This study attempts to give a process framework for designing and developing high school physics mechanics experiments based on the Phyphox software for smartphones,and to design and develop high school physics mechanics experiments based on the Phyphox software for smartphones according to the purpose of high school physics experiments.students’ information awareness,and to give solutions for using smartphone Phyphox software for customizing experimental procedures and external sensor experiments.The main work of this study is as follows:First,through literature review,the current status of "high school physics experiments","smartphone applications in physics experiments",and "visualization applications in physics" in China is reviewed,and the current status of "high school physics experiments" and "smartphone applications in physics" in China is reviewed.This paper provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the design and development of high school physics mechanics experiments based on the smartphone Phyphox software.Secondly,we analyze and present the components of the design and development of high school physics mechanics experiments based on Phyphox software for smartphones.Third,the physical quantities that need to be measured and the physical mechanics experiments that can be designed and developed for high school physics mechanics experiments are analyzed and determined by combining the characteristics of smartphone Phyphox software and high school physics mechanics experiments,and the principles and process of design and development are formulated.Fourth,according to the process,we designed and developed three experimental cases,namely,"overweight weightlessness experiment","investigation of the relationship between spring elasticity and physical variables",and "measurement of free fall acceleration".Three smartphone Phyphox experimental programs were written,two real-time visualization instruments based on smartphone Phyphox software were created,and teaching suggestions were given.Through the above study,we found that the Phyphox software can realize the development of high school physics mechanics experiments with low cost and high accuracy,which can solve the problem that traditional experimental instruments cannot meet the training of students’ information awareness and meet the requirements of the state advocating teachers to use modern technology to assist teaching. |
