| Objectives:To explore the relationship among self-efficacy,self-control,drug craving, mental health and relapse tendency in compulsory drug rehabilitation. To explore whether a 4-month Taichi intervention can improve the self-efficacy,self-control,drug craving and relapse tendency of drug addicts, and to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of exercise intervention,so as to provide a reference for drug addicts to formulate a daily Taichi exercise and rehabilitation training plan after physical detoxification. Methods:This experiment used the literature method, expert interview method, questionnaire method, experimental method and mathematical and statistical method.A whole-group sampling was conducted on the strong detainees in Shanghai Qingdong Compulsory Isolation Drug Rehabilitation Centre, and 168 subjects were divided into experimental and control groups.Taichi training was added to the intervention within the experimental group;the control group used the rehabilitation content in the drug rehabilitation centre.Due to the epidemic, subjects underwent a 4-month,60min/time,3 times a week exercise intervention under video guidance. The study was conducted via a questionnaire scale and differences in baseline indicators between the tai chi and control groups were analysed using independent samples t-tests,one-way analysis of covariance was used to compare differences between groups and paired samples t-tests were used to test for differences within groups, with p < 0.05 indicating a significant difference.Results:(1)During baseline testing, physical activity, amphetamine craving, and relapse tendency were not significant for all demographic variables(p>0.05).Self-efficacy was statistically significant in the demographic variables of marital status, partner drug use,and years of drug use(p<0.05).The level of self-efficacy varied in some demographic variables.Self-control showed statistical significance on the demographic variables of marital status and pre-entry smoking status(p<0.05).The level of self-control was statistically significant for some demographic variables(p<0.05).(2)There was a significant positive correlation between amphetamine craving, psychiatric symptoms and relapse tendency(p<0.01),a negative correlation between psychiatric symptoms and self-efficacy(p<0.05),and a significant positive correlation between self-control and amphetamine craving, psychiatric symptoms and relapse tendency(p<0.01).The influence of amphetamine craving on relapse tendency is influenced by psychiatric symptoms, and the influence of amphetamine craving on psychiatric symptoms is modulated by self-control.(3)The results of the questionnaire showed that there was no significant difference in the baseline data between the groups in the level of amphetamine craving,self-efficacy,psychiatric symptoms,self-control and relapse tendency(p>0.05).After the intervention, amphetamine craving, mental symptoms and relapse tendency scores decreased significantly,self-efficacy and self-control scores increased significantly, and the improvement degree of Taichi group showed a trend to be better than that of the control group. The difference in self-efficacy,self-control,and psychiatric symptom variables was not significant in the control group, and the difference in amphetamine craving and relapse tendency was significant in the experimental group. Conclusions:Four months of Taichi training was able to improve the self-efficacy level of male strong abstinence personnel to varying degrees.Taichi training can make the personnel produce positive psychological emotions, eliminate psychological barriers,so as to reduce the tendency of relapse.Self-control can regulate the relationship between physical activity and psychological symptoms of strong addicts.Taichi training can take the direct path or indirectly affect the relapse tendency of drug addicts through self-control.Compared with the traditional withdrawal mode of drug rehabilitation, the Taichi group had a significant effect on reducing the level of relapse tendency, proving that the exercise intervention can reduce and inhibit the relapse tendency of strong addicts. |
