Research On The Practical Dilemma And Countermeasures Of Social Workers In Community Drug Rehabilitation Work

My country promulgated the "People's Republic of China Anti-drug Law" in June 2008,which means that my country's drug rehabilitation system has undergone a major change-from compulsory isolation and rehabilitation to community-based drug rehabilitation,voluntary drug rehabilitation,compulsory drug rehabilitation,and community drug rehabilitation.Rehabilitation is supplemented by the government's more professional and humanized intervention in drug rehabilitation in the new era.In this context,social work is a new profession that focuses on serving special groups and disadvantaged groups,helping them solve problems and improve their abilities,and naturally becomes a participant in drug rehabilitation.In 2003,Shanghai established the“Self-Strengthening Social Service Headquarters”,which is my country's first non-profit anti-drug social organization.It was promoted by the Shanghai Municipal Government and introduced professional social workers to intervene in community drug rehabilitation.A certain degree of achievement has been achieved,and a certain degree of social recognition has been obtained.But social work is an imported product from the West after all.Social workers,as a new professional group,need to face various challenges from different levels in the actual work of intervening in community drug rehabilitation.Therefore,how to deal with these challenges is the practical work of anti-drug social workers.The inevitable real problems in China.This article takes the community drug rehabilitation service project in Y district of Guangzhou city undertaken by D organization as an example,collects relevant data through literature research method,participatory observation method and interview method,and explores and analyzes the practice faced by drug control social workers in intervening in community drug rehabilitation work.Dilemmas,and how to deal with these dilemmas.This article starts from the three stages of anti-drug social workers' acceptance,intervention and follow-up evaluation in actual work,and believes that their main difficulties in practice are: the clients are highly vigilant,the difficulty of establishing professional relationships is high,and the target people are highly vigilant.Separation of households,lack of continuity of services in different places,and the particularity of the application of the client's self-determination principle;the particularity of the service target makes it difficult to solve related problems,the repeated professional relationship is not conducive to the development of work,the complexity of the work of social workers and other organizations;salary and treatment And the sense of accomplishment affects the stability of work;the complicated content of the documents leads to job burnout;the assessment standards for social workers are too quantitative.The reasons for these dilemmas mainly include the inadequacy of social workers' own work ability,the conflict between social work ethics and reality,and the shortcomings of the project system itself.In view of the above dilemma,the three-level response strategies from social workers themselves,social work organizations,and the government are: for individual anti-drug social workers,they must improve their overall quality;for organizations,they must improve their talent training system and improve related service systems;for the government The language is to clarify the responsibilities and division of labor of each subject.
