| As "Digital Natives" born in the Internet era,the "Generation Z"(born between 1995 and 2009)is the generation most immersed in the media,and they are influenced by the media in all aspects of their study,work and life.They are influenced by the media in all aspects of their study,work and life.In the mobile Internet era,with the help of rapid technological changes,the development of society is accelerating,and the time experience,time feeling and time rhythm of "Generation Z" in the accelerated society are also richer and more diversified.Based on this,this paper takes "time management" as the research perspective to observe and analyze the current situation of the mediated existence of "Generation Z".This paper uses participant observation,questionnaires and in-depth interviews as the main research methods to empirically analyze the use of mobile time management apps by "Generation Z" and analyze the time dilemma of "Generation Z" in their daily use of mobile media in conjunction with the theory of "media availability",as well as the media survival exploration of "Generation Z" in response to the time dilemma.The study found that the time dilemma of "Generation Z" mainly includes time compression,time disruption and time chaos,as well as the resulting time tension,distraction and social burnout.In order to solve these time dilemmas,"Generation Z" mainly uses time management apps to reconstruct their own time sequences,quantify their own practices and present their own digital images,so as to freely control the order of their personal lives.However,while using media technology to cope with the time dilemma,"Generation Z" also needs to adjust their own behavior to adapt to the mediated living environment.The study concludes that while "Generation Z" is using media technology to counteract the temporal dilemma,they still need to be wary of the technological trap and the resulting existential dilemma.The media and people and society need to regulate each other,after the game and regulation to achieve a balance,and ultimately can survive better. |
