As an educational game that enlightens wisdom and promotes the development of thinking,puzzle games have important educational value in primary school mathematics teaching.Developing students’ thinking skills is an important aspect of mathematics learning,and the combination of puzzle games and mathematics teaching will maximize this ability.The fun of puzzle game teaching itself invisibly relieves students’ learning pressure,which not only conforms to the teaching concept of the new mathematics curriculum standard,but also provides ideas for the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.Therefore,the research on the current situation and strategy of mathematics puzzle game teaching in primary schools is a topic worth exploring.Based on the above reality,by combining qualitative research and quantitative research,the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and interview method were used to analyze the current situation of mathematics puzzle game teaching in primary schools.Firstly,the literature research method is used to review domestic and foreign research,so as to clarify the research starting point and research questions,and at the same time define the related concepts like puzzle games,clarify the value of puzzle game teaching,and lay a foundation for subsequent research.Secondly,a questionnaire was compiled to conduct an overall survey on the current situation of mathematics puzzle game teaching in primary schools,supplemented by classroom observation method to observe and record the teaching of puzzle games in mathematics classroom,and combined with the interview method to conduct in-depth discussion and analysis of key issues,so as to present the current situation of primary school mathematics puzzle game teaching from multiple angles.Through analysis,it can be seen that the teaching of mathematics puzzle games has been widely rolled out in primary schools and recognized by students and parents,but it is still in the preliminary exploration stage,and there are many difficulties in teaching implementation.Specifically,the teaching content and teaching philosophy are misaligned;the teaching form and method are still unitary;the status of puzzle games is marginal,the evaluation and management system is inadequate;there is a lack of specialized training for teachers and insufficient professional competence of them;and there is a significant difference between urban and rural areas,and rural teaching lags behind that in cities.The analysis of these problems shows that the reasons behind them mainly lie in the implicit and long-term characteristics of the teaching value of puzzle games;the constraints of subject-based thinking in teaching implementation;the weak teaching staff of puzzle games;and the distribution of educational resources between urban and rural areas is uneven.On this basis,combined with theoretical research,targeted teaching strategies are proposed: select teaching content,and implement the teaching concept of mathematical puzzle games to stimulate wisdom and thought;break through traditional teaching methods,innovate teaching forms,and make good use of teaching methods;improve teaching evaluation,strengthen teaching management,and improve the teaching quality and efficiency of mathematics puzzle game;enhance multi-party cooperation,strengthen the teaching force and strengthen the construction of the teaching team,balance educational resources,mutual assistance between urban and rural areas,and optimize rural teaching.It is hoped that this research will provide reference for the practice and research of mathematics puzzle game teaching in primary schools.
