The 2022 edition of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education clearly states the core competencies in primary school, and spatial concepts are one of them.At present, primary school mathematics teachers have shortcomings in cultivating primary school students’ spatial concepts, and puzzle games can effectively promote children’s thinking development, which is one of the good ways to cultivate primary school students’ spatial concepts. The use of puzzle games as teaching resources has received high recognition from many scholars, but currently there are relatively few puzzle game teaching resources that are suitable for cultivating spatial concepts among primary school students. There is still significant research space in this field. This article mainly adopts literature review and content analysis methods for research.Firstly, collect and organize literature on spatial concepts, puzzle games, and the use of puzzle games to enhance students’ spatial concepts.Secondly,by studying and analyzing existing literature, relevant concepts such as spatial concepts, mathematical teaching resources, and puzzle games are sorted out.Next, the content analysis method was used to conduct a detailed analysis of the teaching content on spatial concepts and the puzzle games used in the textbooks of the People’s Education Press and Beijing Normal University. Finally, based on the theory of children’s spatial concepts and the theory of multiple intelligences, the development basis, principles, and process were elaborated, and teaching cases were compiled.Research has found that firstly, the development basis should revolve around the teaching requirements of the "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022Edition)",the teaching content on spatial concepts in primary school mathematics textbooks, the development situation of primary school students, and the value of puzzle games.Secondly, the development principles should follow scientific rationality,people-oriented,effective,and cultural infiltration.Thirdly, after summarizing and analyzing the suitable teaching content for development,it is necessary to develop puzzle game resources. The development process includes the collection, classification, screening, matching, and integration of puzzle games.Based on the above research findings, the author selected two puzzle games,"skillfully placing numbers" and "four color matching boards",and developed teaching cases for "Rotation of Figures" and "Axisymmetric Re understanding(2)".Based on the above research, the author draws the following conclusions: firstly, compared with traditional teaching resources, puzzle games are more suitable for teaching spatial concepts in primary school mathematics, and have unique value in developing students’ spatial concepts;secondly The development process of puzzle games should be flexible in serving teaching, and the teaching resources of puzzle games should be organized and optimized based on the teaching content and student situation;thirdly The development of puzzle games should follow the development basis and principles, and serve the teaching of cultivating primary school students’ spatial concepts. |
