With the continuous deepening of our country’s basic education reform, the cooperative research between universities and primary and secondary schools has attracted more and more attention from theoretical researchers under the support of national policies and the urgent appeal to promote theoretical generation and practical changes through the establishment of cooperative partnerships. And to promote its continuous exploration of cooperative education research in practice. The cooperative research between universities and primary and secondary schools has a long history, and related research emerges one after another, such as the influencing factors of cooperative research, the existing problems of cooperative research, the operation mechanism of cooperative research, and the mode of cooperative research. For universities and primary and secondary schools to cooperate in research to establish an equal and mutually beneficial partnership,it is of great significance for front-line educators to obtain theoretical support for their "practical knowledge",which in turn feeds back theory. However, the exploration of cooperative research paths provides specific and optional implementation procedures and plans for cooperation between universities and primary and secondary schools.Research initiators and participants can choose appropriate paths according to their own needs and abilities,so as to ensure the entire cooperation. The research progressed smoothly.Through literature sorting and analysis-conception research design-with the help of case classification and narrative-proposing relevant thinking on cooperative research paths as the main line, three kinds of universities and middle schools are selected respectively,"comprehensive quality evaluation","classroom teaching slice diagnosis" and "new basic education".Cooperative research on different paths in primary schools is a case study.Mainly using the method of literature analysis and case study,it elaborates three different paths from the perspective of theoretical production—top-down,bottom-up,two-way interaction, and symbiotic nourishment. With the help of the historical investigation of the cooperative research paths between domestic and foreign universities and primary and secondary schools, the background and motivation of cooperative research are clarified, and the advantages and disadvantages are understood. In addition, the commonalities and differences of the above three paths are systematically compared. There are various paths for cooperative research between universities and primary and secondary schools, but based on the analysis of the above three paths,it is found that there are advantages and disadvantages regardless of the path.Even the ideal "two-way interaction, symbiotic and nourishing" cooperative research path requires long-term political and economic support and constant adherence by participants. It requires active cooperation from multiple parties, which is difficult to implement, and the long-term and complex nature of cooperative research.Promoting low universality and other issues. This has led to several thoughts on the path of cooperative research between universities and primary and secondary schools: the pursuit of value in cooperative research should be integrated and unified, and both theory and practice must be taken into account;although the participants of cooperative research are a "community of destiny",they cannot Crossing the boundary,it is very important to grasp the "sense of proportion" between each other;the value pursuit of cooperative research is based on the mutual recognition and integration of the two cultures,so in the process of cooperative research,it is necessary to promote cultural identity and integration;institutional guarantee It is the cornerstone of successful collaborative research, and the government’s "steering" can help promote the smooth progress of research.
