The growth of low-grade children cannot be separated from high-quality schooleducation.Without the support and cooperation of parents,the quality of educationand teaching cannot be guaranteed.The successful integration of the parental authority of both school and home is essential for the flourishing and over-development of students.When working together in the home-school environment,it is essential to ensure that teachers are properly situated.roles has an important influence on the development ofhome-school cooperation.This paper examines the current cooperative relationship between teachers and parents in lower grades,based on the theories of teachers’ roles and home-school cooperation.problems that haveemerged and their causes,and proposes optimization measures according to theproblems,taking Wuhu H Primary School as an example.Specific aspects include:The introductory section explains the origin and significance of the study based on the theoretical interconnection of teachers’ roles and home-school cooperation,and systematically compares the existing research results on teachers’ role orientation and home-school cooperation.At the same time,this paper clearly defines the relevant basic concepts involved in the study,and details the content and methods of the investigation in order to explore the issues in greater depth.Based on literature collection and practical work experience,this paper first constructs the ideal role of lower elementary teachers in home-school cooperation.Then,this paper designed questionnaires and interview questionnaires from several perspectives to investigate the current situation of the role of lower grade home-school cooperation in elementary school H.The paper concluded that the role of the lower grade teacher group in elementary school H was unclear to both home and school,the execution of teachers in home-school cooperation needed to be improved,and the coordination of teachers in home-school cooperation needed to be enhanced.Based on this,we further analyzed the problems through surveys and interviews,and summarized the reasons for the problems of teachers’ roles in home-school cooperation in the lower grades of elementary school: the low awareness of teachers’ roles in the home-school is due to the blurred boundary awareness between parents and teachers,i.e.,the influence of social changes and traditional home-school concepts;the lack of planning power of teachers’ roles for home-school work is due to the lack of teachers’ competence,parents’ cooperation,and the school’s attention.The lack of teachers’ ability to plan home-school work is due to teachers’ lack of competence,parents’ lack of cooperation,and schools’ low attention;teachers’ utilitarian values,high expectations of the social group,and imperfect school evaluation systems also contribute to the lack of teachers’ ability to coordinate home-school relationships.Finally,the following strategies are proposed to optimize the role of elementary school teachers in home-school cooperation: teachers should improve their competence in home-school work;teachers should correctly understand the status and role of parents in home-school cooperation;teachers should make efforts to improve the home-school cooperation position in the classroom. |
