Self-made teaching aids are teachers who conceptualise and design existing teaching instruments and common objects in real life in the classroom according to their understanding and analysis of textbooks and biological curriculum standards,and then reorganise teaching aids with their own teaching style and reflect their own teaching ideas.Homemade teaching aids are the second language in biology teaching..The new curriculum reform and curriculum standards put forward deeper requirements for the core literacy of biology.In 2019,a new textbook for high school biology was published.The new textbook broadens the depth and breadth of knowledge.In the compulsory biological knowledge,microscopic and abstract knowledge is too much and difficult.In traditional teaching,teachers usually use PPT to display pictures or play videos,combined with language narration to teach,in this In the process,students lack in-depth thinking and understanding of knowledge points.Biological knowledge only exists in textbooks and lacks a link with life.In order to cope with the exam,students can only memorise mechanically,which eventually leads to students being prone to confuse knowledge points and be afraid of biology.In order to three-dimensionalise flat knowledge,vividen a single concept,and improve students’ enthusiasm for biology classrooms,teachers use visible and touchable homemade teaching aids to teach.Homemade teaching aids can bring students closer to biology,and help create a harmonious,vivid and interesting biology classroom learning atmosphere.This article uses the literature research method to analyse and study the theories related to self-made teaching aids,summarises and summarises the current research status of self-made teaching aids at home and abroad,and defines teaching aids,self-made teaching aids and other related concepts.In the early stage,through the questionnaire survey method,some teachers and students of the author’s internship school were surveyed to understand the views,attitudes and use of teachers and students on self-made teaching aids.At the same time,in order to implement the requirements of the new curriculum standards and deepen students’ preliminary exploration of biological concepts and reaction principles,the author has selected chapters in high school biology textbooks that can be taught by self-made teaching aids in combination with his own practice and teacher-student interviews.According to the type of textbook,the process and presentation of teaching aids,self-made teaching aids are divided into simulation structure teaching aids,process simulation teaching aids and theme activity teaching aids.In the process of exploration,a series of related self-made teaching aids models are designed,produced and constructed,and applied to high school biology teaching.This study takes the two classes at the same level in the first year of the author’s internship school as the experimental object,and carries out the experiment of applying self-made teaching aids to teaching.In order to ensure the accuracy of the research,according to the first monthly examination results of the two classes before the experiment,it was found that there was no significant difference between the two.Self-made teaching aids are taught in the experimental class,traditional teaching is carried out in the control class,and in the research process,the two classes are consistent in other teaching content,progress and other aspects.Finally,SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to sort out and analyse the mid-term and final examination score data of the two classes,and it was found that the application of self-made teaching aids to teaching had a significant effect,and the results of the two test experimental classes were higher than that of the control class.After the experiment,some students in the experimental class were interviewed about self-made teaching aids,and finally the relevant conclusions can be drawn from the application of self-made teaching aids in teaching.The research conclusion is that self-made teaching aids have the following advantages: self-made teaching aids are conducive to arousing students’ interest in learning biology;helping to improving students’ biological core literacy;helping to improve students’ grades;promoting the all-round development of students;helping to improving teachers’ teaching level;and assisting in teaching to implement biology The core literacy attracts more and more students to take the initiative to learn biology and love biology.
