The theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" is the wisdom crystallization of Confucius’ theory of poetry education.It first proposed that "Poetry" has four social functions of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan".Throughout the ages,research on this theory has not been successful.From the perspective of poetry teaching,this theory still has positive guiding significance for the teaching of contemporary ancient poetry.On the basis of previous studies,this paper further explores its value and significance for the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high schools,with a view to applying the theory to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high schools.This thesis mainly discusses from the following five parts.The first part mainly introduces the origin and development of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" and its poetic value.This chapter expounds the origin and development of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" in the dimension of time,introduces the connotation and evolution of the theory by combing the interpretation of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" by scholars of past dynasties,and then discusses the significance of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan " to the teaching of ancient poetry from the perspectives of teachers and students.The second part is to understand the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in senior high school through the questionnaire survey.Through the collation and analysis of the data,it is found that the current teaching of ancient poetry is still facing challenges,and the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" has not been widely used to guide the teaching of ancient poetry.The third part takes the existing problems in the teaching of ancient poetry as the starting point,expounds the necessity of introducing the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" into the teaching of ancient poetry from two aspects: the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" can provide theoretical guidance and method guidance for the teaching of ancient poetry,and makes a feasibility analysis of its application in the front-line Chinese classroom teaching.The fourth part focuses on the current situation of ancient poetry teaching and discusses the application strategy of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" in front-line teaching.In this chapter,the application of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school is subdivided into four teaching links: "association and feeling","observation and understanding","communication and exploration",and "expression and creation" from the perspective of "the rise of teaching,the view of teaching,the group of teaching,and the resentment of teaching".The fifth part focuses on the application strategy of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" in the teaching of ancient poetry,taking the ancient poetry "Short Song Line" and the Song poetry "Niannujiao· Chibi Nostalgia" as examples to carry out teaching design and practice,and finally summarizes and reflects on the application effect of the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" in the teaching of ancient poetry.In a word,"Xing Guan Qun Yuan" has a certain guiding significance for the teaching of ancient poetry.Applying the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school is not only the continuation of ancient teaching theory in today’s society,but also the enrichment and expansion of contemporary front-line teachers’ teaching theory.Making full use of the value of poetry teaching in the theory of "Xing Guan Qun Yuan" will help to promote the further development of ancient poetry teaching.
