Classical poetry is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and the most brilliant pearl in the five thousand years of Chinese history.It has been valued by educators since ancient times.Chinese classical poetry is rich in beauty of rhyme,form,picture and emotion.and has strong aesthetic function.At the same time,ancient poetry also carries the will quality,moral sentiment and cultural concepts of the ancients,so it also has the function of enlightenment.Since ancient times,there has been a tradition of poetry education in China,which regards learning poetry as an important educational content.Poetry is not only a literary form,but also a conscious consciousness and the release of life itself.It is the responsibility of Chinese language education to strengthen the education of ancient poems and Ci-poetry among middle school students,to immerse them in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,to be influenced by beauty,and to cultivate good cultural accomplishment and noble moral sentiment.Yuan Xingyu is a well-known scholar with profound cultural accumulation and rich academic works.He is respected in his own field.His research on Chinese classical poetry is unique and profound.He analyses and appreciates poetry from the aspects of poetry language,image,artistic conception and poet's style.He is comprehensive and systematic,which provides us with reference for analyzing and appreciating ancient poetry.The author is aware of the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in middle school and the importance of learning ancient poetry,and tries to find a way to appreciate and teach ancient poetry from Yuan Xingpei's theory of poetry appreciation,so as to provide valuable reference and reference for middle school Chinese,especially for the teaching of ancient poetry.The main body of this paper is discussed from the following four parts:The first chapter mainly introduces Yuan Xingpei's life and main academic achievements,and elaborates the main content of Yuan Xingpei's poetry appreciation theory from three aspects:language,image,artistic conception and style.Chapter two explores the relationship between Yuan Xingpei's theory of poetry appreciation and the teaching of ancient poetry in middle schools from the aspects of the objectives and contents of curriculum standards,teaching suggestions and textbook compilation.It is found that both curriculum standards and textbook compilation emphasize multi-angle appreciation of ancient poetry on the basis of requiring memorization and recitation.Yuan Xingpei's theory of poetry appreciation has great enlightenment.Chapter three discusses the value of Yuan Xingpei's poetry theory in the light of the current situation of Chinese teaching in middle schools.From the three aspects of students'learning,teachers' teaching and the practical problems existing in the teaching process of ancient poetry,Yuan Xingpei's theory of poetry appreciation can provide us with a more systematic reference and guidance.Chapter four discusses the enlightenment and suggestions of Yuan Xingpei's theory of poetry appreciation to teachers and classroom teaching practice.The enlightenment to teaching practice can also be divided into four parts:language,image,artistic conception and style,and elaborated in combination with the selected texts of specific poets and Chinese textbooks.In the third section,typical examples are listed for specific evaluation.
