With the advent of cultural confidence,the important role of literary reading teaching to inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture has become increasingly apparent,which has also attracted the attention of many scholars in academic circles.The State strongly advocates that young people should inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and the language curriculum standards for compulsory education clearly propose to inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture through language learning.Therefore,language teaching,especially the teaching of literary texts,has to play a role in passing on excellent traditional culture.However,at present,due to the limitations of exam-oriented education and the difficulty of reading and understanding the language itself,there are still significant problems in the teaching of passing on excellent traditional culture in reading the language.Based on the background of enhancing cultural confidence and realising the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,this paper firstly collates the concepts related to excellent traditional culture and cultural heritage.On this basis,the questionnaire method is used to find out the problems in the teaching of reading in Chinese language to transmit the excellent Chinese traditional culture,with the intention of achieving the research purpose of perfect integration between the teaching of reading in Chinese language and the transmission of excellent traditional culture.By analysing data from student and teacher surveys,drawing on previous findings and research conducted,the following conclusions were drawn from three aspects of classroom teaching,students and teachers to explore strategies for teaching the transmission of excellent Chinese traditional culture in the reading of literary texts:1.to promote the integration of the transmission of excellent traditional culture with classroom teaching of literary texts;2.to improve students’ classroom participation;and 3.to make up for teachers’ lack of traditional cultural literacy.It is necessary and relevant to integrate the heritage of excellent Chinese traditional culture with the teaching of reading in literary languages.The integration of the two can both activate the vitality of Chinese fine traditional culture and create a harmonious and harmonious classroom for teaching literary texts,improve teachers’ traditional cultural literacy and bring into play the nurturing value of teaching literary texts.
