The cultivation of cultural confidence in the new era depends more on the moral development of education,which is itself a cultural activity.Known as the ’peak of literature’,pre-Qin literature,with its integrated form and rich cultural content,occupies a pivotal position in Chinese literary and cultural history,and plays an important role in the transmission of culture and the formation of students’ personality.However,the works of pre-Qin literature are difficult for teachers to teach because of their age,the depth of their ideas and the difficulty of reading them.This paper therefore takes the unified version of high school pre-Qin literature as the object of study,analyses the traditional culture embedded in the unified version of pre-Qin literature,and proposes reasonable strategies and methods for teaching traditional culture in pre-Qin literature.This article examines the cultural characteristics of pre-Qin literature and the characteristics of traditional culture,analyses the selection of pre-Qin literary works in the unified edition of senior secondary school textbooks,and discusses the relevance of pre-Qin literary works to the transmission of traditional culture.Secondly,the traditional cultural spirit of cultivating oneself,dealing with the world and governing one’s country is explored in the context of the relevant policy documents issued by the Ministry of Education and the needs of educating people in the new era from the education of character cultivation,education of social care and education of family and national sentiment,It also explains the educational value of traditional culture in three aspects: strengthening intellectual education,implementing moral education and improving aesthetic education.Finally,with "cultural interpretation" as the main theme,we propose teaching strategies for traditional culture in pre-Qin literary works: tracing the origins of culture through form and meaning,chanting and reciting,and introducing commentaries to deepen students’ understanding of the origins of traditional cultural content;broadening students’ cultural perspectives through the articulation of school periods and the coherence of subjects;and finally helping students to develop their cultural perspectives through cultural expansion and Finally,through cultural extension and enrichment activities,we help students to understand and construct their culture,so that they can appreciate the charm of traditional culture in the interpretation of texts and promote the continuity of traditional culture.
