The harmonious coexistence between man and nature is the essential feature of Chinese modernization.The construction of ecological civilization has been highly valued by the country,and has been given a prominent status.Improving the ecology and promoting the construction of a "beautiful China" and promoting green and low-carbon development have become important issues in the new era.However,at present,the public shows a strong "government dependence",and ecological civilization education has become the short board of ecological civilization construction.Strengthening ecological civilization education is a solution to relieve the pressure of ecological environment,change the public’s ecological ideology,and improve the quality of ecological civilization of all citizens."Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school is the key course to implement moral education,and shoulders the important responsibility of cultivating the ecological civilization literacy of junior high school students.The particularity of the curriculum makes it the main channel for the implementation of ecological civilization education.Junior high school students are the reserve force of national construction,bearing the hope and sustenance of national rejuvenation.Junior high school is the key period to establish correct values,and also an important node to accelerate the implementation of ecological civilization education.Therefore,the acceptance of ecological civilization education for junior high school students is not only to meet the urgent needs of ecological civilization construction,but also an important topic of education in the new era.This paper takes the ecological civilization education carried out in the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior middle school as the research object,and uses literature research,questionnaire survey,text analysis and other research methods to explore the path of ecological civilization education and fill the gap of ecological civilization literacy of junior high school students.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly expounds the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status,etc.The second to fifth chapters are the main parts,mainly explaining the ecological civilization education and related theories,taking the curriculum standards as the guidance,the teaching materials as the foothold,and laying a solid foundation for exploring the path of ecological civilization education.Through questionnaire survey and interview,ecological civilization knowledge,ecological civilization awareness,ecological civilization behavior,teaching methods and teaching environment were investigated on junior middle school students and teachers of a middle school,so as to further understand the problems existing in the process of ecological civilization education and teaching.According to the survey results,the causes of the existing problems are deeply analyzed from three aspects:the school’s overall importance to ecological civilization education,the single evaluation of ecological civilization education,and the lack of initiative of students in learning ecological civilization knowledge.Based on the above research,the paper discusses the path of ecological civilization education of "Morality and Rule of law" in the junior middle school from the aspects of ideological understanding,curriculum resources,teaching methods,practice and educational evaluation,and implements the central task of cultivating ecological civilization literacy of junior high school students,so as to coordinate the development of ecological civilization construction in China.Finally,a teaching example of a class in the textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school is selected as a demonstration class to carry out ecological civilization education and consolidate the feasibility of the research conclusion.The conclusion part mainly explains that optimizing the ecological civilization education path of the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle school is not only the need to clarify the direction of ecological civilization education,but also the need for the continuous innovation of ideological and political courses in junior middle school.
