With the advancement of globalization,the economies of various countries have developed rapidly,but at the same time,they are also facing severe ecological and environmental problems,for which the Party and the State attach great importance to it.In the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the "construction of ecological civilization" was proposed for the first time,highlighting its important position in modernization.The construction of ecological civilization is an inevitable requirement for the sustainable development of the people and even all mankind,and has important and long-term value and significance for the future development of society and the country.Based on the reality of middle school students’ lives,the junior high school "Ethics and the Rule of Law" course aims to guide and promote the development of middle school students’ ideological character and their comprehensive quality,which is the main way to implement ecological civilization education.Ecological civilization education refers to social practice activities that allow people to have a correct understanding of ecology and ecological problems through education,help people establish awareness of ecological protection,and guide people to establish a correct concept of ecological civilization.Through research analysis and classroom observation,it is found that ecological civilization education in junior high school "Ethics and Rule of Law" has achieved certain results,but there are still problems such as relatively weak awareness of ecological civilization among junior high school students,the channels of ecological civilization education need to be expanded,the content of ecological civilization education is not systematic,and the teaching method is relatively single.This is not only due to the reasons of teachers and students themselves,but also to the factors that affect the school.Based on this,this paper conducts targeted strategic analysis from three aspects:excavating curriculum resources,improving teaching content,selecting reasonable teaching methods,improving teaching efficiency,strengthening practical teaching,and guiding students to integrate knowledge and action,and strives to provide a practical reference for enhancing the effectiveness of ecological civilization education in junior high school "Ethics and Rule of Law" course.At the same time,"Building a Beautiful China" in the ninth grade textbook "Ethics and the Rule of Law" is used as an application example to provide specific and referenceable examples for the application of ecological civilization education in the "Ethics and Rule of Law"course in junior high school.
