The "Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)"(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standards")clearly states: "The ideological and political course in senior high school is a key course to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,with the goal of cultivating socialist core values.It is a comprehensive and activity oriented course that helps students establish the correct political direction,improve the core literacy of the ideological and political discipline,and enhance social understanding and participation abilities." Disciplinary core literacy is the character and ability displayed when comprehensively applying basic disciplinary knowledge to solve complex problem situations.In 2019,Professor Cui proposed the concept of "teaching oriented to disciplinary core literacy promotes the transformation of traditional ’unit’ and ’class hour’ teaching into large unit teaching".Properly applied large unit teaching can cultivate students’ core literacy in ideological and political disciplines and promote knowledge structuring.At present,there has been preliminary exploration and experience accumulation in the teaching of large units of ideological and political courses in high schools,but there are still practical problems such as unclear grasp of the concept of large units by teachers,"tangible and lifeless" in the teaching process of large units,insufficient attention from schools,and single evaluation methods.In view of this,the author conducts a survey and research on the application of large unit teaching in the new teaching of high school ideological and political education.The aim is to analyze the current implementation status of large unit teaching,identify the difficulties and problems that exist in actual teaching,explore optimization strategies for large unit teaching in the new teaching of high school ideological and political education,and finally design a large unit teaching using the third unit of compulsory course 3 as an example,Display design ideas and activity structure design.This article provides a theoretical framework and practical path for teachers to apply large unit teaching in new ideological and political teaching in high school.Specifically,it can enhance teachers’ understanding and recognition of large unit teaching in teaching concepts,enhance the improvement and effectiveness of teaching design in new teaching,and better grasp the classroom and stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm in teaching organization.To provide assistance for better realizing the educational goal of cultivating morality and cultivating talents in ideological and political courses.
