The introduction of ideological and political curriculum into classical Chinese teaching in high school is conducive to promoting the comprehensive development of students’ core literacy in Chinese.Teaching classical Chinese should not only focus on the perspective of language construction and application,but also on the inheritance and understanding of culture.This paper takes the classical Chinese works in the departmental edition of high school Chinese textbooks as an example,combined with current academic research results,and through research methods such as classroom observation and questionnaire survey,analyzes the ideological and political elements and values contained in the departmental edition of high school classical Chinese works,and explores the current situation and strategies of ideological and political education in classical Chinese teaching under the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of this paper consists of five parts,with the main content as follows:The first part explains the connotation of ideological and political education in high school Chinese language courses,feels the rich ideological and political elements contained in the textbook selection,and helps students establish a positive outlook on life and values.The second part is to investigate the current situation of ideological and political education in high school classical Chinese teaching,and analyze the problems in the implementation of ideological and political education in the current high school classical Chinese teaching curriculum,such as a single teaching mode of classical Chinese,insufficient traditional cultural literacy of teachers themselves,inadequate cultural level teaching,and inadequate analysis of students’ ideological and political learning situation.The third part analyzes the ideological and political elements contained in classical Chinese in the compiled high school Chinese textbooks.The works of classical Chinese in high school contain rich literary literacy and educational concepts,which are powerful carriers of curriculum ideological and political strength.The fourth part summarizes the strategies for high school teachers to improve their ideological and political teaching abilities in classical Chinese courses based on the problems found in the survey,including establishing ideological and political concepts in the curriculum and updating teaching methods;Improve one’s knowledge and cultural literacy in classical Chinese;In-depth exploration of textbooks and reasonable extension of background knowledge;Understand students’ ideological and political learning situation,and connect with practical life;Integrate curriculum ideological and political education into thematic practical activities.The fifth part is the practical application of ideological and political concepts in the teaching of classical Chinese in high school.In the teaching design,the first volume of the compulsory textbook "Red Cliff Fu" is used as an example to integrate the ideological concepts and life philosophy contained in it into teaching practice,guiding students to establish correct outlooks on life and values,and establishing cultural confidence.
