The party and government have always attached great importance to the dissemination and development of red cultural resources.At the same time,the newly issued "History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" proposes five core qualities of the history discipline.Among them,family and country sentiment is an important component of the five core qualities,as well as the emotional foundation and ideal goal for achieving other qualities.Integrating Hainan’s red cultural resources into history teaching in junior high schools is conducive to disseminating and promoting the red cultural spirit of "keeping the red flag alive for 23 years" in Hainan,cultivating students’ feelings of love for their hometown,and achieving the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.However,at present,there are few studies on the integration of Hainan’s red cultural resources and junior high school history teaching,and there is a lack of theoretical guidance and practical application cases.Therefore,this article takes Haikou area as an example to explore how to apply it to history teaching in junior high schools on the basis of integrating Hainan’s red cultural resources.This article is divided into four parts: The first part gives a general description of the red cultural resources,introducing the representative local red cultural resources in Hainan;The second part discusses in detail the necessity and feasibility of applying Hainan’s red cultural resources to history teaching in junior high schools based on such factors as curriculum standards and external conditions;The third part explores the current situation and existing problems of the application of Hainan’s red cultural resources in junior high school history teaching through an analysis of a questionnaire survey,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for the problems;The fourth part mainly elaborates the principles of the application of Hainan’s red cultural resources in junior high school history teaching,and tests them with specific cases on the basis of theory.
