The college entrance examination plays a crucial role in connecting China’s basic education and higher education, and its reform will affect the direction of national education.Since 2014,the comprehensive reform of the national college entrance examination has been continuously promoted, and the history subject has gradually become one of the top choices for elective courses in high school sections in many regions, with its importance in high school teaching increasingly highlighted. The comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination will have an impact on students’ selection of courses, evaluation methods, and the disciplinary status of history subjects in high school, which all pose new demands on the quality of high school history teachers.Due to unclear professional cognition and planning,as well as an increasing workload outside of teaching, the enthusiasm and efficiency of high school teachers participating in professional development still need to be improved when facing the new challenges brought by the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination.High school history teachers should constantly reflect and actively participate in various training activities that are conducive to their own capacity building. On the basis of fully understanding the requirements of the college entrance examination reform policy, high school history teachers should continuously improve their own quality and professional development level by shaping and leading their professional identity to adapt to the needs of social development.Various functional departments need to strengthen the investigation of teachers’ training needs, process supervision, and continuous follow-up after training. Before launching new training, each functional department should promptly understand teachers’ needs, clarify teachers’ rights and responsibilities, improve incentive mechanisms, and complete targeted teacher training, ensuring policy orientation and institutional guarantee from multiple aspects to enhance training. |
