With the publication and implementation of The State Council's Opinions About Deepening the Reform of Admissions System and Chongqing's Implementation Plan Of Deepening The Comprehensive Reform Of The Common College Entrance Exam,and the publication of General High School Biology Courses(2017 Revised),China's quality education continues to move forward.China is paying more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality,and also puts forward severe challenges for the professional quality structure of high school biology teachers.As a teaching implementer of high school biology class,the professional quality of high school biology teachers is the premise of ensuring the quality of classroom teaching,which is not only a necessary condition to implement the new college entrance examination reform plan but also the basis for developing quality education.So if China wants to develop quality education and innovation education,we must pay attention to the professional development of high school biology teachers.More importantly,the challenge for the professional development of high school biology teachers is not limited to the reform of the new college entrance examination,but how to become a teacher of the new era in the face of the entire education reform in the future.By reading a large number of literature research,it is found that there are a lot of literature on teachers' professional development.However,the research after the reform of the new college entrance examination is a few.And mostly have discussed the challenges faced by teachers and Solutions,there is rarely conducts surveys on the status quo of the professional development of biology teachers.Therefore,With literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview survey and statistical analysis as the main research method,this study taking Chongqing as an example,investigated the current situation of high school biology teachers' professional development in case of the reform of new college entrance examination and summarized the feasibility and deficiencies of high school biology teachers' professional development.In combination with practical conditions and teacher needs,this study puts forward the countermeasures for promoting the professional development of high school biology teachers.In order to investigate the status quo of the professional development of high school biology teachers in Chongqing in the context of new college entrance examination reform,This study interpreted Chongqing's Implementation Plan Of Deepening The Comprehensive Reform Of The Common College Entrance Exam and other textual materials.According to the challenges facing the professional development of high school biology teachers,this study designed teachers questionnaire.There are 167 questionnaires were feedback by teachers through website platform.Valid rate is 100%.This research collated and analyzed the questionnaire.At the same time,according to the results of the questionnaire survey,interviews investigated measures for teacher professional development,which can be used as supplementary research.This study summarized the status quo of high school biology teachers' professional development as follows.High school biology teacher professional development is feasible at five points.First,they have high professional emotions.Second,their professional knowledge structure has been further improved,which include possessing relatively systematic biological expertise and updating a wide range of knowledge.Third,they have the intention of conducting professional development,which include the expectation of further improvement,The professional level of most teachers in a gradually rising stage,recognizing the relationship between the new college entrance examination reform and its own professional development and recognizing that their expertise and professional ability need to be improved.Fourth,they have the intention to conduct educational research,which include recognizing the necessity of conducting education research and having a certain degree of intention of teaching reflection.Fifth,they have diversified professional development pathsThe deficiency of professional development of high school biology teachers includes three aspects.First of all,professional attitude needs to be strengthened.Such as most teachers don't know enough to understand the new college entrance examination program and most teachers have low subjective initiative.More and more,most teachers lack professional development plans and Most teachers teaching reflection degree is not enough.Second,the overall quality of teachers needs to be improved,such as lacking of correct educational concepts,perfect professional knowledge structure,professional planning guidance,education research capacity and layered teaching capabilities.Finally safeguard mechanism of teacher professional development to be improved.Such as,school leaders don't pay attention to it,and teachers lack learning opportunities.There are also heavy tasks for teachers and great pressure for professional development.In addition,the form of teaching and research conferences is single,and teacher training is inefficient.Finally,teachers' professional development needs to be met.According to the above survey results and Combining with the actual conditions and needs of high school biology teachers,this study proposed the proposal for promoting the professional development of high school biology teachers under the background of reform of new college entrance examination as follows.First,the biology teacher itself should change their educational concepts and meet the challenges of the new college entrance examination,enhance their own knowledge reserves and enrich their professional knowledge structure,strengthen the degree of reflection on teaching and improve the ability of layered teaching,persist in professional reading and establish the concept of lifelong learning,and formulate professional plans to improve career guidance and planning capabilities.Second,schools should attach importance to teachers' professional development and increase learning opportunities for biology teachers,enrich the form of teaching and research conferences and improve teachers' education and research capabilities,meet the needs of teachers and improve teachers' professional development initiative,build a study community and increase communication among teachers,improve the teacher evaluation system and promote the professional development of teachers.Finally,society should improve the social status and stimulate teachers' enthusiasm for professional development,improve the teacher training mechanism and improve the efficiency of teacher training,guarantee the basic rights of teachers and implement the professional development of teachers,establish a teaching resource database and increase teachers' independent learning resources.In short,the challenges brought by the reform of new college entrance examination to the professional development of high school biology teachers deserve the attention of the school and the teachers themselves.It requires teachers,schools and society to work together to meet the new college entrance examination reform and promote the overall development of high school biology teachers.For high school biology teachers,new college entrance examination reform is both challenges and opportunities.Only when they grasp the opportunity,they can grow into new teachers under the education reform era.
