Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,collectivism education has absorbed new connotations and contemporary characteristics,making the status of collectivism education in the teaching of ideological and political courses increasingly prominent.Junior high school students are the source of power to promote the prosperity and development of the country and the great rejuvenation of the nation.The course Morality and rule of law in junior high school is the key course to implement the basc task of cultivating people by virtue.Therefore,the research on strengthening the effectiveness of collectivism education in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school is of great significance to enrich the relevant theories of ideological and political collectivism teaching in the new era,optimize and innovate teaching strategies,and help students grow into new generation who can shoulder the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.Collectivism education imposes dramatically positive effect on the physical and mental development of junior high school students.The research finds that there are some problems in the collectivism education of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school,such as the teaching objectives to be clarified,the teaching content enriched,the teaching methods innovated,the teaching evaluation improved and the educational environment optimized,which affect the effectiveness of collectivism education to some extent.The reasons are mainly influenced by the characteristics of physical and mental development of junior high school students,teachers’ ability and quality,the exam-oriented education environment and the restriction of improper opinions on the Internet.In view of the problems and causes of collectivist education,this paper puts forward strategic suggestions from six aspects,in order to better strengthen the collectivism teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school.For the ideological and political teachers in junior high school,they should strengthen the collectivism ideal and faith,cultivate the moral sentiment of collectivism,cultivate the solid knowledge of collectivism and deepen the lofty qualities of tolerance and benevolence.For the teaching goals of collectivism,it is necessary to focus on the core quality of the subject and establish a foothold in educating people.For the content of collectivism education,the content of the teaching materials needs to reflect the contemporary characteristics and the local historic culture,in connection with the actual life of junior high school students.For the collectivist teaching method,we are supposed to combine the situational teaching method,case analysis method and problem teaching method with teaching and discussion methods.For the collectivism teaching evaluation system,the evaluation content should be refined,the evaluation subject diversified,and the evaluation method diversified.For the overall environment of collectivism education,we should start from the three aspects----campus,family and network,in order to create an invasive collectivism education environment for junior high school students.We strive to put collectivism education into maximum effect in the course of Morality and Rule of Law,and make it an important role in the moral cultivation of civilians,so that collectivism spirit can take root in students’ hearts.
