| This study takes the undergraduate accounting major of X University in H Province as the research object, clarifies the positioning of X University as belonging to the application-oriented undergraduate program, and conducts research on curriculum optimization.Firstly, through data collection, the current situation of the curriculum of undergraduate accounting majors in University X and the studies related to the curriculum optimisation of the majors are understood as the basis of the subsequent study.Secondly,on the basis of the data collection,a questionnaire on the curriculum optimisation expectations of undergraduate accounting majors at the University of X was designed with reference to the possible problems of the curriculum of the undergraduate accounting majors at the University, combined with in-depth interviews with the accounting graduates of the University on their deep experience of the requirements of their units after working and the teachers teaching the courses,to analyse the optimisation path of the curriculum. Finally, with reference to the reform experiences of the three universities in terms of the curriculum of accounting majors, suggestions are made on how to improve the curriculum of undergraduate accounting majors at University X.The main elements of this study are as follows:Chapter 1 takes as the research background of this study the requirements of implementing the current accounting reform and development policies, meeting the demands of the cultivation objectives of the applied undergraduate accounting majors, adapting to the needs of the changes in the professionalization of the accounting industry, and implementing the needs of accounting talent education in the new era.It elaborates the significance of the study, puts forward the research ideas and research methods on the premise of clarifying the current situation of domestic and international research, and specifies the important points and innovations.Chapter 2 provides a definition of concepts and theoretical foundations. On the basis of defining the concept of applied undergraduate degree, the relevant concepts of the accounting profession are identified, while Pan Mao Yuan’s theory of college classification and Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences are explicated as the theoretical basis of this study.Chapter 3 is to investigate the attitudes of undergraduate accounting majors at University of X towards curriculum optimisation.Firstly,a questionnaire on curriculum optimisation expectations of accounting majors was constructed through literature analysis and expert consultation methods, and a trial test was conducted;secondly, the trial test was then distributed on a wide scale for data analysis, and interview data from relevant accounting majors’ teachers and graduates of the major at the University of X were used as supporting materials for the questionnaire analysis. Finally, based on the results of the questionnaire and interview analysis, the expectations of undergraduate accounting students and graduates of University of X on the path of curriculum optimisation were understood.Chapter 4 introduces the curriculum reform experience as a reference.Based on the principle of both looking up to the stars and being on the ground, the curriculum reform experiences of three undergraduate accounting majors at Shanghai Jiaotong University,Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics and Zhejiang Jiaxing College were selected to provide references for curriculum optimisation in this study.Chapter 5 is an exploration of the curriculum optimisation path for the undergraduate accounting major at University X.Through the analysis of the questionnaire, the path of curriculum optimisation is expected.Combining the curriculum reform experiences of three universities and the requirements of multiple intelligence theory,it is suggested that the undergraduate accounting majors of X University should start from setting the curriculum objectives in line with the training objectives, and then strengthen the links between courses and courses to build curriculum clusters, optimise the teaching staff of courses to improve the "double tutor" system, and update the curriculum contents in line with the real social development. It is suggested that the undergraduate accounting programme at the University of X should start from setting course objectives in line with the training objectives, and then build course clusters by strengthening the links between courses and courses, optimising the course faculty and improving the "dual tutor" system, updating course contents in line with the real social development, and making practical improvements to the existing course teaching methods in order to optimise the problems presented by the current curriculum from multiple perspectives. |
